April M. S. McMahon

April M. S. McMahon war zwölf Jahre lang Dozentin an der Universität Cambridge und spezialisierte sich auf Phonologie und die historische Linguistik der englischen Sprache. Derzeit ist sie Präsidentin der Linguistics Association of Great Britain. Sie hat außerdem die Bücher "Lexical Phonology and the History of English" (2000), "Change, Chance, and Optimality" (2000) und "An Introduction to English Phonology" (2002) verfasst.
