Charlie Higson
Charlie Higson was born in 1958 in Somerset, England. He is an actor, producer, screenwriter, comedian, and author. At university, he studied English and American literature, as well as Film, and then tried his luck as the lead singer of the band "The Higsons." He toured across Europe and America but soon grew tired of it and decided to make a strong entry into television as a screenwriter and actor for popular comedy shows. As an author, he is known for the thriller novels he has written for adults. In 2004, he was approached and subsequently authorized by the Ian Fleming Foundation to write about the teenage adventures of the most famous spy of all time, James Bond. "I grew up with Bond," Higson has stated, "and although I had to accept that I would never get to play him in the movies, writing about him is even more exciting!"
