Dimitris Ntzanatos

Dimitris Dzanatos was born in 1952 in Mesolongi. He is a former Certified Auditor with 46 years of continuous professional experience. He served as Chairman of the Board of a major auditing firm for 21 years, from 1996 to 2017. He holds a doctorate and has taught accounting, auditing, and taxation at the University of the Aegean, the University of Macedonia, and the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is the author of three books on International Accounting Standards, International Auditing Standards, and Income Taxation, all published by Kastaniotis Editions. He has published numerous articles on professional and scientific issues. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the charitable organization "Asylum for the Incurable." Additionally, he is a member of ESYOEL, a technical support body for the work of Certified Auditors. Throughout his long professional career, he has engaged with all sectors of the private economy and significant areas of the public sector, providing a wide range of services. From his extensive professional and academic experience, he has gained in-depth knowledge of the pathologies, contradictions, as well as the positive aspects and growth potential of our economy.
