Douglas Cairns

Douglas Cairns a predat la universitățile din St. Andrews, Otago, Leeds și Glasgow, iar în prezent este profesor de Studii Clasice la Universitatea din Edinburgh. Este autorul cărții "The Psychology and Ethics of Honour and Shame in Ancient Greek Literature" (1993) și editorul volumului "Oxford Readings in Homer's Iliad" (2001), precum și co-editor împreună cu R.A. Knox al lucrării "Law, Rhetoric, and Comedy in Classical Athens" (2004).
