Elio Tavilla

Elio Tavilla wurde 1957 in Messina geboren. Er lebt und arbeitet in Modena, wo er an der Juristischen Fakultät von Modena Geschichte des Rechts lehrt. Er hat mehrere Gedichtsammlungen veröffentlicht, darunter "24 Poems" (Privatedition, Messina 1980), "The Cube and the Absence" mit einer Einführung der Dichterin Maria Luisa Spaziani (Internationaler E. Montale Preis 1983), "Simple Thoughts" mit einer Einführung der Dichterin Rosita Copioli (Prova d'Autore, Catania 1989), "A Small Anthology" (I Quaderni di Rossopietra, Modena 1990), "Flowers and Shapes" (Quaderni del Masaorita, Bologna 1996), "The Love of Two" (book editore Bologna 1999, Dario Bellezza Preis) und "The Comet" (Gallo and Calzati editore, Bologna 2005, Sandro Penna Preis). Er gründete Literaturzeitschriften, darunter Gli immediati dintorni und Frontlera. Seine Gedichte wurden in der Zeitschrift Planodion, Ausgabe 43, Dezember 2007, veröffentlicht.
