Adidas Advantage Review | The affordable white sneakers I would buy again and again
If there is a pair of shoes that has emerged as the big protagonist of every woman's wardrobe, it is definitely sneakers.
Especially those in white are a timelessly elegant choice that can complement any outfit at any time of day. With the athleisure look being the hottest trend in recent years, sneakers are no longer just for the gym, but also for a walk, the office, and a relaxed night out.
The most popular of all white sneakers are undoubtedly the well-known Stan Smith, which more or less we all had at some point in our wardrobe. Since I personally wore them far too often, they would “break down” after a few months, meaning that every season I had to buy new ones. So I decided to find a more economical alternative to my favorite sneakers, and after quite a bit of searching I found it, and in Adidas itself. About 1.5 years later, after having tested them quite a lot, I’m ready to tell you about my new favorite white sneakers, the Adidas Advantage, with a complete review.
Allow me to introduce you to the Adidas Advantage Sneakers!
These are white sneakers in a classic yet modern design, inspired by tennis. They lace up, have a rubber outsole for ultimate traction, and a colored back (you can find them in pink, blue, red, green, total white, etc.). I chose the ones with the fuchsia back.
Adidas Advantage Men's Sneakers Cloud White / Altered Amber
- Regular fit
- Synthetic upper
- Textile lining
- Cloudfoam insole
These adidas tennis-inspired shoes combine classic look and modern comfort. The slim fit provides a soft feel while hugging your foot. Walk with confidence and absolute traction on any kind of surface. This product is made from Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials.
As you can see, they are quite reminiscent of the well-known Stan Smith in style, while I can assure you that they are just as comfortable and easy to wear. They go with everything, from office trousers to spring dresses and skirts, while thanks to their colorful back they also add that very interesting pop of colour to every outfit.

Adidas Advantage vs Stan Smith
If you ask me, both sneakers are equally stylish and comfortable. What makes me want to give the "point" to the first ones is purely their price. On average, you will find them around 45 euros (of course, this also depends on the color you choose), and if you wear a small size (up to 39), you can find them even cheaper in children's sizes, specifically around 30-35€.
As you understand, they are approximately 50% cheaper than the Stan Smith without lacking in style and comfort. As for their durability, I would say that in the 1.5 years I've had them, I've noticed similar wear to the Stan Smith (a bit of "cracking" of the leather and slight wear of the laces), but due to the price difference, I can personally forgive them for it.
In conclusion, if you are looking for an everyday, affordable white pair of sneakers, the Adidas Advantage are definitely among those I would recommend to you.
