Samsung confirmed the rumors about new smart earbuds at Galaxy Unpacked and thus unveiled the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Both come with design improvements and share several common features. With the help of artificial intelligence, the Korean company implemented a distinctive design that will make the two products stand out in users’ ears from afar. Both support active noise cancellation (ANC) and isolate everything better, while also optimizing sound based on the content and the surrounding environment. Both models also bring improvements to calls, with conversations being transmitted more clearly and technologies such as beamforming helping to complete calls even in very intense noise.

With the help of AI, Samsung has given the new Buds the role of a… interpreter, since users can communicate in different languages that are translated in real time. Their voice is recorded, transmitted, and translated (if they wish) before reaching the other speaker. Both support Auracast and Bluetooth 5.4, as well as switching between devices. The Galaxy Buds 3 stand out for their 11mm single-driver and up to 8 hours of operation with ANC turned off (or 5 with ANC on), or 30 hours in total with the charging case (or 24 with ANC on). The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro feature blade lighting (and essentially a touch surface that responds to taps and touches) and have 2-way speakers, and can operate for up to hours with ANC off or 6 hours with it on. In total, they offer 30 hours with the charging case without ANC or 24 with it. The Pro model has the Voice Detect feature, which lowers the volume when it detects that you are speaking. The two Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are scheduled to be released on July 24 at prices of €179.90 and €249.90 respectively.
