Do you have questions? Find the answers!
We answer the most frequently asked questions you may have about Power banks.
How many charges does a power bank provide?
The exact answer always depends on the size of your device's battery! Below, we have gathered in a table what you can roughly expect from each battery size.
How long does the power bank take to charge my phone?
Generally, this depends on the capabilities of both the smartphone and the power bank, but there are now two main charging standards. Quick Charge 2.0, which is the older fast charging standard, allows phones to reach 0 to 60% in 30 minutes, while Quick Charge 3.0 has more efficient and faster charging for compatible devices, allowing them to reach 0 to 80% in 35 minutes.
Why isn't my power bank charging?
There are many reasons why your power bank may not be charging a device. Let's look at the most common ones!
Did you check the cable?
You may have already tried this, but check if the cable has any damage or if the port has dust or dirt. If, after cleaning it, the problem persists, try with another cable.
Check the output power
While you may not encounter this problem with a smartphone, if you try to charge devices with higher voltage, you probably won't succeed!
When did you last charge it?
Some Power Banks do not have a battery status indicator, so it may simply have run out of battery. Charge it and try again!
Finally, if you need a portable power station with a larger battery size, as well as greater power, you can also take a look at power stations, which support charging more devices, as well as more features than power banks.
