New iPad & iPad Air Announced
Apple announced, as expected, its new iPad and iPad Air for 2025, with the latter receiving a basic processor upgrade, now featuring the M3.
The iPad Air 2025, therefore, are once again expected in 11 and 13 inches, בדיוק as we saw with the previous models. In both versions, we will see the M3 chip (8-core CPU, 9-core GPU, 16-core NPU), which is a significant improvement over the M2 version we saw earlier in the season. Beyond the processor, at the heart of the new tablets we will have 8GB RAM, and this whole package delivers twice the performance compared to the 2022 iPad Air with the M1.

From there on, there are no particular differences from the established models. They come with the same displays, the same dimensions, and the same limitations (60Hz). On the back, they have two 12MP cameras so you can capture your favorite moments in video and images, as well as a USB 3.1 port for charging and data transfer. There are no changes in connectivity, which remains at the Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 levels. In contrast to the iPhone 16e, the new iPad Air retain Touch ID and the button at the bottom of the screen.
The new iPad Air are powerful enough to support Apple Intelligence, which in Europe is expected with the next major version of iOS and iPadOS, sometime in April. Along with the new iPads, an updated Magic Keyboard was also introduced, which now has a larger trackpad and one more row of action keys.
They will be released in a variety of colors, specifically Blue, Purple, Starlight White, and Space Grey.
