Trick or Treat? Easy Halloween Sweet Recipes
Quickly and easily make spooky recipes to get into the Halloween spirit
Every year, Halloween captivates us with its mysterious atmosphere. A magical three-day period where the scary becomes sweet. Pumpkins transform into delicious soups, cookies take the shape of ghosts, and cupcakes become little monsters.
So, the question arises, "Trick or Treat?" The only thing left is to decide which sweet mystery you will discover!
Oreo Bats with Only 3 Ingredients
They are colorful and cute. No recipe is needed, as they simply require a little assembly.
Required Time: Assembling them takes about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how many you make.
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1 package of chocolate candies Smarties or M&M's
- Couverture chocolate
Instructions:
- Split each cookie in half so that one half has the cream filling and the other does not.
- Break the half without the cream exactly in the middle. These form the "wings".
- Place the wings as shown in the photo, "sticking" them with a little melted chocolate.
- Similarly, attach the colorful chocolate buttons for the "eyes".
The Oreo Bats are ready, and you are ready to celebrate Halloween!
Rice Krispie Treat Monsters
Are you ready for a little monster invasion on your table?
Ingredients you will need (20-24 servings):
For the Rice Krispie treats:
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 bag Large Marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
For the Monster coating:
- Candy Melts
- Candy Eyes
- 1/4 cup oil
Instructions:
For the Rice Krispie treats:
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until melted.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until they are completely melted and combined with the butter.
- Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract and the Rice Krispies. Stir until combined.
- Pour the mixture into the baking pan. Using a spatula sprayed with cooking spray, gently press down until the pan is evenly covered.
- Let cool until set.
For the Monster coating:
- Melt about 1 cup of candy melts in a small bowl in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir and continue microwaving for 30 seconds at a time, until completely melted.
- Add about 1/2 teaspoon of cooking oil (the more you add, the smoother the finish) to the melted candy melts and stir until combined.
- Dip the Rice Krispie Treats into the melted candy melts and place them on parchment paper.
- Gently press the candy eyes to create the monsters.
- Let cool at room temperature for about 40 minutes, or until the candy melts have completely hardened.
- If you're in a hurry, you can put them in the refrigerator or freezer for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Place them on your favorite platter and serve!

- Carefully open the chocolate cookies.
- Pipe a large dot on the cream side with green icing.
- Fill each one with a brown M&M and create veins with red icing.
Ghost Popcorn Balls with 5 Ingredients
Turn your favorite snack into spooky little ghosts!
- Preparation Time: 15'
- Cooking Time: 15'
- Additional Time: 30'
- Total Time: 60'
Ingredients you will need:
- 16 cups popped Popcorn
- 300gr Marshmallows
- Candy Melts
- Candy Eyes
- 1/4 cup Melted Butter
Instructions:
- Place the popcorn in a large bowl (or 2 large bowls to make mixing easier).
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the mini marshmallows and butter. Stir occasionally until combined.
- Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn (dividing between 2 bowls if you split the popcorn). Stir with a spatula until the popcorn is coated.
- Butter your hands and start shaping the popcorn into balls. You can make taller balls, like the shape of a ghost, or anything else you prefer.
- Place the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Let the balls cool and set. (30 minutes to 1 hour)
- Melt the candy melts. You can add vegetable shortening or vegetable oil to thin the chocolate if you want. Dip the tops of the popcorn balls in the melted chocolate and place them on the tray. You can try adding the eyes immediately, but they may slide off if the chocolate is too hot.
The spooky little ghosts are ready!
