GL-1: Basic mineral oil without extreme pressure (EP) additives. Ideal for very old vehicles, classic tractors, and components with light loads.
GL-2: Special lubricant for worm gears. Mainly intended for specialized industrial or older agricultural equipment.
GL-3: Lubricant with mild additives, designed for older manual gearboxes with moderate loads.
GL-4: Specification suitable for most manual transmissions. Provides strong lubrication without corroding the sensitive bronze synchronizers of the gearbox.
GL-4+: Enhanced formulation that combines the safety of GL-4 for synchronizers with the high durability of GL-5. Ideal for gearboxes with integrated differential (transaxles).
GL-5: Super-reinforced lubricant with powerful high-pressure additives. Strictly essential for differentials and axles with extremely heavy loads.
MT-1: Special specification designed for non-synchronized manual transmissions of heavy vehicles (trucks/buses), offering top thermal resistance.
Viscosity: It reveals how viscous a lubricant is. It is determined by 2 numbers. The first one with the letter "W" (Winter) refers to how the oil flows when it is cold. The second one refers to how the oil flows when it is hot under operating conditions of the vehicle.
Differentials: Lubricants enhanced with extreme pressure (EP) additives, essential for protecting hypoid gears that are subjected to heavy loads. They ensure smooth power transmission to the wheels without wear and overheating.
Dual Clutch Transmissions (DCT / DSG): Specialized dual-action fluids. They protect the gears from wear, while also functioning as hydraulic fluids for fast gear shifts, simultaneously cooling the sensitive multi-plate clutches to prevent slippage.
