LifeguardFluid 8: Fluids exclusively developed for ZF’s modern 8-speed (8HP) automatic transmissions. They ensure smooth shifting, maximum fuel efficiency, and protection.
TE-ML 02B: Fluids designed for manual and automated transmissions of commercial vehicles (trucks/buses). They offer reliable protection for gears during normal change intervals.
TE-ML 03D: Special transmission fluids for torque converters and Powershift systems. Ideal for heavy earthmoving machinery, forklifts, and off-road equipment.
TE-ML 04D: Specification strictly for marine applications. Specially designed for marine transmissions, offering top protection against corrosion and wear in a marine environment.
TE-ML 05A: Classic extreme pressure gear oil for axles and differentials in earthmoving machinery and off-road equipment, for standard maintenance intervals.
TE-ML 05B: Super-reinforced differential gear oil for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Withstands extreme temperatures and stress, allowing for extended change intervals (Long Life).
TE-ML 09: Fluids exclusively for steering systems (power steering) and ZF oil pumps. They ensure precise steering, quiet pump operation, and prevent leaks.
TE-ML 11: A broad specification that covers lubricants for manual as well as older generation automatic passenger car transmissions, ensuring the smooth operation of synchronizers.
TE-ML 14: The main specification family for automatic transmission fluids in commercial vehicles and buses (e.g. ZF Ecomat / EcoLife systems).
TE-ML 14A: Automatic transmission fluids of the 14 series, designed for commercial vehicles with conventional requirements and regular, more frequent maintenance intervals.
TE-ML 17B: Gear and transmission oils, specifically approved for use in forklifts with standard loading and operating requirements.
TE-ML 17C: Gear oils for lifting machines (forklifts). They offer significantly improved thermal resistance compared to 17B and longer oil life.
TE-ML 21A: Standard EP gear oil for drive axles and differentials of tractors or other agricultural/earthmoving machinery, offering resistance to heavy and continuous loads.
Viscosity: It reveals how viscous a lubricant is. It is determined by 2 numbers. The first one with the letter "W" (Winter) refers to how the oil flows when it is cold. The second one refers to how the oil flows when it is hot under operating conditions of the vehicle.
Differentials: Lubricants enhanced with extreme pressure (EP) additives, essential for protecting hypoid gears that are subjected to heavy loads. They ensure smooth power transmission to the wheels without wear and overheating.
Dual Clutch Transmissions (DCT / DSG): Specialized dual-action fluids. They protect the gears from wear, while also functioning as hydraulic fluids for fast gear shifts, simultaneously cooling the sensitive multi-plate clutches to prevent slippage.
