- up to 60 psi: (Low Pressure / High Volume). The most popular category for everyday bikes and standard floor pumps. Corresponds to up to 4 Bar and is recommended for Kids' bikes, MTBs, and Fat Bikes.
- 61 - 100 psi: (Mid Pressure / All-Rounder). The most popular category for everyday bikes and standard floor pumps. Corresponds to 4.1 - 7 Bar and is recommended for City, Trekking, and Gravel bikes.
- 101 - 160 psi: (High Pressure / Road Performance). Essential range for road riders who need hard tires to reduce rolling resistance. Corresponds to 7.1 - 11 Bar and is recommended for Road / Racing bikes.
- 160 psi and above: (Ultra High Pressure / Shock Specialized). Specialized pumps (Shock Pumps) with a very small air chamber, intended only for forks and rear shocks. They usually reach up to 300 psi and over 11 Bar respectively, and are recommended exclusively for suspension systems.
- P/V - Presta: Thin valve (French type - F/V), usually found on road bikes and high-performance MTBs.
