Clear- Grills: Portable grilling devices, usually charcoal or gas, designed for transport. They are used to grill directly on a grate, just as you would with your home barbecue.
- Stoves: Portable stove burners. They do not have a grate for direct grilling, but produce a flame so you can place small pots, pans, or coffee pots on them for cooking. They are usually single or double.
- Wood Stoves: Outdoor stoves that burn wood. They serve a dual purpose: they provide heating for the space, while their flat top surface functions as a cooking surface for placing cookware and preparing food.
- Mini Cookers: Standalone, complete, or heavy-duty cooking systems such as multi-burner gas stoves.
- Cooking Set: They include small pots, pans, lids, plates, or even mugs, made from lightweight materials. Their main feature is that they “nest” (fit one inside another) to take up as little space as possible during transport.
- LPG: The most popular, clean, and easy-to-use option. It comes in canisters, provides an instant flame with easily adjustable intensity, and boils water very quickly.
- Alcohol: Liquid fuel (usually methylated spirits) used in simple and completely silent stoves. It is economical, safe to transport, and easy to find, but it takes a little more time to cook.
- Wood: Natural, traditional, and “free” fuel (twigs, pinecones, leaves, bark) that you collect directly from the surrounding nature. Its effectiveness depends on the weather (whether the wood is wet).
- Tablets: Solid fuel in the form of small, compact cubes. It is the lightest solution, taking up the least possible space, ideal for hikers or emergency kits, as they light very easily under any conditions.
- Windshields: These are foldable windshields that fold like an accordion. They are placed around the stove, creating a protective wall to prevent the fire from going out.
