Description & Specifications

The content of the book is divided into two periods that coincide with the two distinct periods of Stelios Anemodouras' writing-publishing presence in the field of popular children's readings: in the first period (1951-1968), the final issues of the narratives "Superman," "Targa," "Little Hero," "Tagore," "Little Knight," "Little Firestarter," and "Greco" are presented in chronological order of their publication. The selection criteria for the readings of the second period (1969-2016) are different: rare or unpublished adventures of "Bleck," "Mark," "Zagor," "Mister No," "Captain Miki," "Tex," "Just," and "Cocobil" are presented.

The selection of stories is attributed to the authors George Vlachos (first period) and Nikos Dim. Nikolaidis (second period), who also curated the short introductory notes for each reading of their respective periods.
Illustrator Kostas Frangkiadakis illustrated the stories of the seven readings of the first period with new dynamic sketches, except for the covers, as the originals of the first edition were retained, thus paying tribute to illustrator Byron Aptosoglou, whose sketches were a key contributor to the creation of the legend of the "Little Hero" publications.
