    In terms of range, the LOW setting is only for eye contact use and up to 4 floors, on the 5th floor there is a lot of clatter and communication is not understandable at times. However, in the HIGH setting, it has sufficient range for clear communication in underground areas with reinforced concrete up to the 10th floor, which has been tested, and up to 5K in eye contact.
    The batteries of this specific version are NIMH and last satisfactorily, but they are not LIION - it is relatively easy to make your own LiION pack and replace the battery pack inside the package. There is no ready-made LIION pack to buy from a supplier at the moment.
