Description

Description

Kids' literature and dramatization for kindergarten and elementary school.

The book "Five Steps for Action" has been designed in such a way as to cover theoretically and practically the approach of children's literature with the method of dramatization in kindergarten and elementary school.

The first part refers to theoretical views concerning dramatization within the school class. The work carried out within the framework of the practical exercise of the Department of Preschool Education and Training of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is fully recorded and implemented by a student of the 5th semester. The second part provides a detailed description of the five steps proposed for activities in kindergarten and elementary school using children's literature and the technique of dramatization supported by action-provoking keywords.

The five steps for action are: a) Objectives-goals b) First contact of the story with the children c) Role distribution d) Adaptation writing e) Implementation.

The book proposes nine titles of children's literature books and describes in detail the five steps. The proposal is completed with the adaptation of each story and the way-space of its implementation. A music suggestion is provided for each scene.

The book is useful for both the theoretical and practical parts, it concerns students of Pedagogical Departments, kindergarten teachers, and teachers who have not dealt with the method of dramatization, and it gives them the opportunity to engage and take another step beyond the five steps for action.

A tool book.
A book born in the classroom after many years of practice.
A book that was applied successfully in the practical exercise of the preschool education department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki by students.
A book that will be easily used even by the most skeptical.
