Before this head, I had the exact same one, fluid again, but without a pan.
It is exactly what you need for a monopod or for a slider (if it fits the user's requirements).
It is not for heavy weight and I would not buy it for a heavy-duty tripod and for cameras loaded with lights, microphones, monitors, etc.
It will hold up, but each head has its purpose.
The head is made of aluminum, be careful not to drop it even though it is sturdy.
All pan and tilt movements are quite smooth.
The quick release is great because with the same plate I can attach it to a monopod, slider, gimbal, and heavy-duty tripods without changes.

In the photo, it looks smaller in size. It's quite large; I could have found a smaller, lighter one of the same quality...

Starting from the first impression when I tried it in a store, I was surprised because I expected it to have a lot of resistance, but on the contrary, it is quite "light". I thought that due to the lack of resistance, it would not be able to make smooth movements, but in the end, I saw that with a 120mm lens, it produced very smooth shots. 2-3 weeks later, I have adapted to its handling and discovered that for very delicate movements, it is better to hold the camera or head directly rather than the handle.

The head has a spring that provides stable resistance and is slightly harder than I would like for use with a DSLR. The camera needs to be well balanced before you start shooting because otherwise it becomes tiring. One negative (approximately) is the huge base, which is as big as the camera and lens combined! This creates a problem because I can barely operate the focus ring. In the future, I plan to use a follow focus, so this issue will be resolved.

Overall, it is a very good head that can be used in various situations and seems well-made enough to withstand many years.
