Unfortunately, when it operated, it only had a low and medium setting, and it would shut off on the high setting! Unacceptable. When I contacted the company, they asked me to send it back to see if it was covered by warranty. We bought it for the heatwave and they left us hanging with so much inconvenience.       The build quality is disappointing. I bought it solely for the E27 socket for better lighting, but I regretted it because large LED bulbs still don't fit inside for the globe to close. When I turn it on, even at low speed, it makes a strange noise as if the rotating part is scraping against the stationary part. Sometimes it stops making the sound. Also, the part that holds the socket for the bulb is crooked, and when I tightened it, it leaves a large gap on one side and a very small to no gap on the other. In the same white-colored fan, this problem doesn't exist, nor does the issue with the noise, so maybe the nickel color was defective. The fan's power is moderate on High, but you have to be directly underneath it to feel the breeze despite its large blades. There are much better fans out there, like the ones with nice transparent blades from Gruppe, which are by far the best.
