Both in movies and music (even though it's Ported), it is of high quality with range and good control.
The built-in DSP with control from the smartphone via app is a Plus. It has customizations such as 3-band parametric EQ, settings for low-pass, phase, polarity, room gain compensation, preset storage, and port tuning options for standard or sealed operation.
Attention, some of the other comments here refer to the older PB 2000 and not the 2000 Pro.
The Pro has a different (larger) amplifier, dual port, accepts all commands from the smartphone (a practice adopted from the larger series (3000), etc

Whatever we say about this specific sub is not enough! It is filled with very powerful bass that will satisfy even the most demanding! The space where I have placed them is very large, which is why I have bought 2 of them! My living room is 60 square meters, but the whole house really shakes, you actually think there is an earthquake!
The disadvantages are: firstly, its mesh could have been of slightly better quality, not that it is bad, but I believe it could have been a little better! Another disadvantage is that they do not have a front LED to see when they are on or off.. Finally, their price is a bit high, but if we want something quite good (for me one of the best subs), they are worth the money and more! You will not hear any distortion with these and especially with the appropriate "feet" underneath, if you place them, you will have almost no vibrations in the space where you will put them!
On top of that, they come with a mobile application where we can adjust everything..
For me, the best sub I have ever heard until today! If you can afford it, get them blindly!

Good but not as expected. I compare it to the Klipsch r115 sw and the difference is that the Klipsch has deeper bass that can easily shake the couch. Now, this one plays clearly and nicely but considering it is 550w rms and the Klipsch is 400w rms, it should have played louder. But it's not bad. The four stars are because the front protective mesh is bad. And another reason it doesn't get five stars is because for its price, it should be better. Anyway, if you are between the two Klipsch, go for it without hesitation. The reason I didn't get a second Klipsch was purely out of curiosity, I regretted it a bit but it will pass. As the saying goes, you make your bed, you lie in it.

In the positives, it goes very low and plays correctly.
I would like a subwoofer that plays louder for around a thousand.
Good, but not such good value.

My friends who have visited my house since I installed the PB-2000, as well as my wife, tell me that it is designed for nothing more than maximum impact. "Oh my god, this thing is huge," I've heard it so many times that I can't count. This beast gives you the impression that it is designed exclusively to peel the plaster off the walls and rearrange the contents of your digestive system!!
If you are looking for the most powerful subwoofer you can buy for this price, without worrying about anything else, the SVS PB-2000 is your best choice. This big bad beast is an undisputed winner.
Advantages: Very high performance (Terror) with zero distortion, capable of filling a large room over 30 square meters with magnificent tight bass!
Disadvantages: You won't want to turn it off!!

Tremendous subwoofer from a giant in its genre!! Incredible bass quality that goes low and rewards you with more than enough!! I have the subwoofer in a 35 square meter playroom and it covers the space more than enough, mainly used for movies rather than music (80/20).

Pros:
- Bass quality that makes you feel like you're shaking and trembling (16hz) literally!
- Awesome design of the subwoofer that imposes its presence in the room and the front grille or metallic finish is amazing!

Cons:
- You might gather signatures to get kicked out of your house!!! My neighbor is ready for a mental hospital!!!!
- The size and weight (40kg) might bother you a little.

THERE IS NO COMPETITION FOR THE MONEY!
