    It will do the job for starters, but don't expect too much... It needs some tweaking to stay stable and lock where you want it... but for the price, it's okay... pretty good.

    Zero "sturdiness"... It doesn't even work for amateurs, I believe... Unless it's a compact camera, which is clearly much lighter than a DSLR!

    For its price, it is good but I would not recommend it for a DSLR... maybe for some time lapse in good weather because with the weight of a DSLR and its thin legs, it easily shakes. I believe it will be fine for a smaller camera and at a good price for a beginner.

    It is not for DSLR. The weight of the camera is borderline for this specific tripod. It easily wobbles, as its slim design does not allow it to become more sturdy and stable. For compact cameras, it is just right, and the quick release of the head is very convenient.
