The greatest athletes of the ancient world have gathered in Greece to participate in the Olympic Games. Young Gaulish warrior, Getafix, with the support of his friends Asterix and Obelix, tries to win in order to capture the heart of the beautiful Greek princess, Irene.
On his way, he encounters the obstacle of the terrible Brutus, cunning and villainous. The son of the great Julius Caesar, who constantly eyes his father's throne, is ready to do anything to marry the daughter of the Greek king.
The clash is inevitable: the two men will compete in chariot racing, the most important event of the Olympics - the winner will be worthy of marrying the princess. In the vast stadium controlled by Caesar, the crowd holds its breath...
