The SuperSub series includes the top subwoofers from GoldenEar. These are high-performance subwoofers that are simultaneously astonishingly compact, incorporating many advanced and unique technologies and components. They are designed to create low-frequency waves at high amplitudes while providing accurate performance at low frequencies.

The SuperSub models feature a unique 360-degree driver with dual balanced inertias and passive radiators, combined with a very advanced electronic system. With two horizontally positioned active drivers and two vertically oriented passive radiators, the integration of the speakers with the room is more evenly distributed, thus delivering fuller bass that is not typically achieved with a single subwoofer.

The electronic packages use the SuperSub matrix and are fully balanced with 1600 W for the XXL model and 1400 W for the X model, utilizing Class D digital amplifiers. Features include multi-dimensional limiting, perfect balancing, and advanced recovery filters, focusing on reducing delay. Input options include unfiltered LFE input or low stereo inputs.

The SuperSub X model is ultra-compact, using the same dual-balanced driver system, but with two opposing active drivers and two opposing passive radiators, powered by a 1400 W Class D digital amplifier. Meanwhile, the SuperSub XXL model features two active drivers and two passive radiators, powered by a 1600 W Class D digital amplifier.

The SuperSub XXL and SuperSub X subwoofers are an ideal addition to any music or home theater system, compatible with various GoldenEar models for low-frequency reproduction.
