Generally speaking, the set (K240 keyboard + M212 mouse) is very good (with one limitation, the need for a USB 2.0 available).
The positives of the keyboard (K240) are:
- quite sturdy in construction.
- resistant to liquids up to 60 ml.
- no missing Insert, Pause, or Scroll Lock keys as is common in small-sized keyboards.
- has feet.
- the keys are large in size and very comfortable for fast typing, and relatively quiet.
- the Enter and Backspace keys are normal-sized and not restricted.
- has shortcuts for music player, sound volume, browser, email, calculator, and find on the F keys.
- with 2 AAA batteries, it theoretically lasts for 3 years.
The negatives are:
- quite thick and not lightweight, not comfortable to carry around.
- does not have an on/off button, it is supposed to automatically deactivate when not in use. For pairing with a different receiver, you need to remove/insert the battery.
- does not have LED indicators for caps lock, scroll lock, or num lock.
- you need both hands to press some shortcuts with the FN key.
- the up/down arrow keys are half the size of normal ones, which may not suit some people.
- the left Shift key is the small size usually found in Greek layouts.
- letters that are common in Greek/Latin are written twice on the same key.
Regarding the mouse:
- it takes 2 AAA alkaline batteries but is not particularly heavy. It theoretically lasts for 12 months.
- comfortable shape and moderate size, suitable for those who do not want a large mouse.
- comfortable left/right click, does not miss clicks, does not double-click, does not make a creaking sound when pressed like some cheap mice. The click is quite noisy.
- a scroll wheel made of hard plastic - not rubber. The middle click is soft. The scrolling is done in small steps that are felt lightly. It does not wobble left-right, at least not at the beginning.
- the 1000 dpi sensor is quite good, works smoothly on common surfaces.
The negatives of the mouse: it does not sit firmly on the desk and slightly wobbles left-right. The mouse feet are somewhat close to each other, making the mouse somewhat unstable on smooth surfaces. Every time I reach out to grab the mouse, it gives an annoying sensation. However, it is not a problem for use on the bed. It may be corrected if the feet are removed.
Range: At close distances of 1-2m, the set works smoothly without any interruptions. I did not test it at longer distances. The theoretical range is 10 meters.
Sensor: The set comes with the Logitech nano receiver (non-unifying). Logitech recommends not connecting the sensor to a USB 3.0 port as it can experience interference and malfunction. It suggests connecting it to a USB 2.0 port and using a USB extended cable if necessary.
In my case, the set had a problem when connected to a USB 3.0 port. The mouse would lose connection for a few seconds and the keyboard would stop responding, requiring me to move it to make it work again. However, when I directly plugged the sensor into a 2.0 port, the problem was completely resolved.
Overall conclusion: a very good set at a price below €20. Recommended.
Γενικά μιλώντας το σετάκι (K240 keyboard + M212 mouse) είναι πολύ καλό (με έναν περιορισμό, να υπάρχει διαθέσιμη USB 2.0).
Τα θετικά του πληκτρολόγιου (K240) είναι:
-αρκετά γερό σαν κατασκευή.
-ανθεκτικό στα υγρά έως 60 ml
-δεν λείπει κάποιο πλήκτρο Insert ή Pause ή Scroll Lock όπως συνηθίζεται στα μικρού μεγέθους πληκτρολόγια
-έχει ποδαράκια
-τα πλήκτρα είναι μεγάλα σε μέγεθος και πολύ άνετα στην γρήγορη γραφή και σχετικά αθόρυβα.
-τα Enter.Backspace έιναι κανονικού μεγέθους και όχι περιορισμένα.
-έχει πάνω στα F keys συντομεύσεις για music player, sound volume, browser, email, calc, find.
-με 2 μπαταρίες ΑΑΑ βγάζεις θεωρητικά 3 χρόνια
Τα αρνητικά είναι:
-αρκετά χοντρό και όχι ελαφρύ, δεν είναι άνετο να το κουβαλάς μαζί σου.
-δεν έχει κουμπί on/off, υποτίθεται απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα όταν δεν χρησιμοποιείται.. Για το pairing με διαφορετικό receiver βγάζεις/βάζεις μπαταρία.
-δεν έχει led για caps lock - scroll lock - num lock
-χρειάζεσαι και τα δύο χέρια για να πατήσεις κάποιες συντομεύσεις με το FN key.
-τα βελάκια πάνω / κάτω έχουν το μισό μέγεθος από το κανονικό, ίσως δεν βολέψει κάποιους.
-το αριστερό Shift έχει το μικρό μέγεθος που έχει συνήθως σε Gr layout.
-τα γράμματα που είναι κοινά σε ελληνικά/λατινικά αναγράφονται 2 φορές πάνω στο ίδιο πλήκτρο.
Για το ποντίκι:
-παίρνει 2 μπαταρίες αλκαλικές ΑΑΑ αλλά δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα βαρύ. Θεωρητικά βγάζει 12μηνο.
-αρκετα άνετο σχήμα και μέτριο μέγεθος, θα βολέψει όσους δεν θέλουν μεγάλο ποντίκι.
-άνετο δεξί/αριστερό κλικ , δεν χάνει κλικ, δεν διπλοκλικάρει, δεν τρίζει στο πάτημα σαν κάποια φτηνά ποντίκια. Το κλικ είναι αρκετά θορυβώδες.
-ροδέλα από σκληρό πλατικό - όχι λάστιχο. Μαλακο το μεσαίο κλικ. Η κύλιση γίνεται σε βηματάκια που τα αισθάνεσαι ελαφρά. Δεν τραμπαλίζει αριστερά-δεξιά, τουλάχιστον τώρα στην αρχή.
- ο αισθητήρας 1000 dpi αρκετά καλός, δουλεύει απρόσκοπτά στις συνηθισμένες επιφάνειες.
Στα μείον του ποντικιού: δεν πατάει γερά πάνω στο γραφείο και τραμπαλίζει ελαφρά αριστερά-δεξιά. Τα ποδαράκια του ποντικιού είναι κάπως κοντά μεταξύ τους, και κάνουν το ποντίκι κάπως ασταθές σε λείες επιφάνειες. Κάθε φορά που απλώνω το χέρι για να γραπώσω το ποντίκι, δίνει μια ενοχλητική αίσθηση. Για χρήση όμως πάνω στο κρεβάτι δεν είναι καθόλου πρόβλημα. Ίσως να διορθώνεται αν αφαιρεθούν τα ποδαράκια.
Εμβέλεια: Σε κοντινές αποστάσεις 1-2μ το σετ λειτουργεί απρόσκοπτα, χωρίς κολλήματα. Δεν έκανα δοκιμή σε μαγαλύτερες. Θεωρητική εμβέλεια 10 μέτρα.
Αισθητήρας: Το σετάκι συνοδεύει ο Logitech nano receiver (non unifying).
Η Logitech συνιστά ο αισθητήρας να μην συνδέεται σε θύρα USB 3.0 γιατί δέχεται παρεμβολές και δυσλειτουργεί. Προτείνει σύνδεση σε USB 2.0 και με usb extended cable αν χρειαστεί.
Σε μένα το σετάκι παρουσίασε πρόβλημα όταν συνδέθηκε σε θύρα USB 3.0. Το ποντίκι έχανε την σύνδεση κάθε τόσο για λίγα δευτερόλεπτα και το πληκτρολόγιο σταματούσε να ανταποκρίνεται και έπρεπε να το μετακινήσω για να ξαναδουλέψει. Όταν όμως κούμπωσα τον αισθητήρα απευθείας πάνω σε 2.0 το πρόβλημα διορθώθηκε εντελώς.
Γενικό συμπέρασμα: πολύ καλό σετ σε τιμή κάτω από 20€. Προτείνεται.
