AQUAMAT-MONOELASTIC is a highly flexible, fiber-reinforced, one-component brushable waterproofing mortar.

It consists of a cement-based mortar reinforced with polymer components (resins).

After curing, it forms a seamless membrane that offers the following advantages:

• Ability to bridge cracks.
• Complete waterproofing even under positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 atm according to EN 12390-8. It can also withstand negative pressures.
• Protection of concrete from carbonation.
• Water vapor permeability.
• Resistance to aging.
• Adhesion to slightly damp surfaces without prior priming.
• Easy and economical application.

Classified as a concrete surface protection product according to EN 1504-2.

Also certified as a root-resistant product according to UNE CEN/TS 14416 EX: 2014

Application fields

• Used for waterproofing surfaces made of concrete, plaster, brick, cement block, mosaic, drywall, wood, metal, etc.
• Ideal for applications requiring high elasticity and good adhesion of the waterproofing layer.
• Suitable for waterproofing surfaces subject to expansion and contraction or vibrations and that exhibit or are likely to exhibit hairline cracks, such as terraces, balconies, above-ground tanks, pools, inverted roofs, etc.
• Ideal for waterproofing terraces, balconies, and wet areas (bathrooms, kitchens, etc.) that are to be covered with tiles.
• Can also be applied for waterproofing basements, internally or externally, against moisture or water under pressure.
