Description

Description

The Gelid Solutions Silent 12 PWM fan has a diameter of 120mm, offering excellent cooling with silent operation. This size is particularly popular for use in computer cases, as it can ensure better performance compared to smaller fans.

The fan connects via a 4-Pin PWM plug, allowing you to control the fan speed according to the cooling needs of the system. Alternatively, it can be connected to a 3-Pin socket, but it will always operate at maximum speed, which may lead to increased noise.

With a maximum noise level of 25.5 dB, this fan is suitable for those who desire quiet operation since noises below 20dB are considered silent. The airflow reaches 58 CFM, providing strong cooling when the system needs it.

  • Diameter: 120mm for optimal cooling performance.
  • Connection: 4-Pin PWM for speed control.
  • Noise Level: Maximum 25.5 dB, silent during operation.
  • Airflow: Maximum 58 CFM for effective cooling.

Specifications

Specifications

Main Specifications

Dimension
120 mm

Dimension

The diameter of the fan in millimeters. The larger the fan, the more effective the cooling and the quieter its operation compared to a smaller one. The most common size is 120mm, with some computer cases supporting larger sizes such as 140mm.
Colour
Black

Technical Specifications

Fan Speed (Max)
1500 rpm

Fan Speed (Max)

The maximum rotations at which the fan turns. To reduce the rotations, it should be connected to a speed controller, either through a port on the motherboard that supports this function. Usually, the higher the rotations, the greater the flow but also the noise. As long as the needs for noise and air flow are covered, the rotations do not need to be taken into account.
Noise Level (Max)
25.5 dB

Noise Level (Max)

The noise produced by the fan when operating at maximum speed.

A medium noise fan produces 20-28dB, while those below 20dB are considered quiet.
Air Flow (Max)
58 cfm

Air Flow (Max)

The amount of air that the fan can push in one minute (cubic feet per minute) when operating at maximum speed.

The higher the number, the more effective the cooling that the fan can provide.

Higher quality fans can produce the same airflow with less noise and speed.
Connection
4-Pin PWM

Connection

4-Pin PWM
Plug for connecting the fan to the motherboard with the ability to control the fan speed. Usually used for cooling the processor. 2. It can also be connected to a 3-Pin socket but will always operate at maximum speed.
LED Color
Without LEDs
Reverse Blade
No

Reverse Blade

Reverse blade fans reverse the airflow, allowing for intake without the interference of the frame, which reduces aerodynamic turbulence and noise. Additionally, apart from enhancing aesthetics and lighting, they make it easier to clean the blades and offer better cable management, as the wiring remains hidden behind the frame.
