Description & Specifications

You absolutely must become a mother. There is no greater happiness than motherhood, other mothers tell you before you join the club, making you wonder, "When will I become a mother? When will I finally have a baby?" Well, you don't know what you're missing, they continue with a smile.

Pregnancy is a wonderful experience, childbirth is a piece of cake, and your baby will be an angel. You will have your husband to help you through the tough times! And as for your job? Don't worry, silly. Everything can be combined if you want it!

A conspiracy of pink happiness that is revealed when, unfortunately, it is already too late. When you have a huge belly like a whale, when you give birth, although you would rather step on hot coals, and when the baby screams rhythmically, looking at you anxiously while you struggle to understand what it wants from you!

And all this while your demanding boss is expecting everything from you, while the caring father whistles indifferently! A timeless book that debunks the myth of the ideal mother, the wonderful wife, and the perfect employee.

“Real” women have dark circles under their eyes, can't fit into their nice jeans after giving birth, and their nerves are constantly shot because no one understands... what we mothers go through!

Read an excerpt

My eyes have huge black, trembling circles. They are bloodshot like Dracula's and they hurt terribly. No matter how many drops and eye washes I use, they insist on hurting me and "cutting" me, I feel as if I am about to go blind any moment now, I will be shouting "blinddddd" but no one will pay attention to me.

My skin has yellowed, it was always pale but now it has turned bright yellow, I look like a Chinese woman who has gotten a tan, my wrinkles, from thin and sporadic, have become deep and numerous. Very deep and very many.

My lips are white, cracked and bruised at the edges. My hands tremble as if I have Parkinson's, I am unable to drink coffee without spilling half of it, my legs shake as if I have swallowed an earthquake and a tsunami combined. My hair needs cutting and coloring – it's a mess, it's only a matter of time before the Greek Hairdressers Association sues me for ruining their reputation, while my body ranges from tragic to very very tragic.

My pelvis can fit the entire basin, five or six plateaus, seven valleys, three lakes and nine pastures, but it absolutely does not fit into my good jeans! My chest refuses to fit into any bra that respects even a little the laws of elegance and I think the right one has sagged more than the left, while the left has grown and become heavier than the right!
