The Extech MA63 clamp meter incorporates a non-contact voltage detector and complete protection against excessive voltage or current. It includes manual range selection for 3 voltage and current AC ranges up to 600V / 60A, 2 DC current ranges up to 60A, and 4 DC voltage ranges up to 600V. The 6000mA range is ideal for automotive measurements.

The VFC (Variable Frequency Control) function allows control in cooling-heating applications where frequencies vary. It also offers measurements of resistance, capacitance, frequency, diodes, and continuity check. It has a low battery indication and automatic shutdown, and offers screen freeze capability. It comes complete with test leads, carrying case, and 2 AAA batteries.
