The regenerations continued to occur with the same frequency. If the DPF has its kilometers, for example 160,000+, and it undergoes frequent regenerations, for example every 100-150 km, the only solution is cleaning or purchasing a new one. These additives (from my personal experience, they don't help). Now, if the DPF is relatively in good condition and the problem is related to poor combustion, then it might help in reducing soot emissions.

Looking for a cleaner, I decided to get this one, because I trust the company as a brand (I used to buy lubricants from this particular brand).
The result after using it and driving in a specific way on the highway was that the light came on again, as did the filter indicator.
In short, it did nothing.
I had to buy another product and so far I have no problems.
I should note that I bought a much more expensive product that is on the market.
I repeat, this particular one did absolutely nothing.

Αναζητώντας ένα καθαριστικό είπα να πάρω το συγκεκριμένο , για το λόγο ότι εμπιστεύομαι την εταιρεία σαν Μπραντ (αγόραζα παλιότερα λιπαντικά της συγκεκριμένης μάρκας).
Αποτέλεσμα μετά τη χρήση και με συγκεκριμένο τρόπο οδήγησης στην εθνική οδό, το λαμπάκι άναψε και παλι καθώς και η ένδειξη του φίλτρου.
Κοινώς δεν έκανε τίποτα.
Αναγκάστηκε και πήρα άλλο προϊόν και μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχω προβλήματα.

One is a Golf VII 1.6 115hp with AdBlue and the other is an Amarok 2.0 179hp.
I didn't have increased consumption (before) and fortunately no strange warning lights (before and after)...
Maybe I have a slightly better throttle response but it could just be my imagination...

Βάζω που και που απο αυτό μια φορα τον μηνα, οταν παω να βαλω πετρελαιο κτλ. Ζητάω το συγκεκριμενο προιον γιατι διαβασα οτι ειναι καλό. Προληπτικά και μονο το βάζω για να προστατεψει το φίλτρο κατακράτησης σωματιδίων πετρελαίου. Τωρα, εαν κανει δουλεια ή όχι δεν το ξέρω. Θα το διαπιστωασω εαν υπαρξει ποτέ βλάβη στο DPF (ελπιζω πως όχι)

I noticed that it works and its effect lasts for a few weeks. But don't be fooled, after 3 weeks, if you drive in the city without taking trips for regeneration, the car will clog up again.
As a precaution, I will use it once a year.
The only solution to avoid issues with regenerations is to take a drive once a week for 60-80 kilometers at 2,500-3,000 rpm so the filter heats up and cleans itself (as much as possible).
Παρατήρησα ότι κάνει δουλειά και το αποτέλεσμα του κρατάει για μερικές εβδομάδες. Μη γελιέστε όμως, μετά από 3 εβδομάδες, αν κινήστε σε πόλη χωρίς να κάνετε ταξίδια για να κάνει αναγέννηση, το αμάξι θα ξαναμπουκώσει.
Προληπτικά θα του βάζω 1 φορά τον χρόνο.
Η μόνη λύση για να μην έχετε θέμα με αναγεννήσεις είναι να κάνετε μια φορά την εβδομάδα μια βόλτα 60-80 χιλιόμετρα εντός των 2.5-3 χιλιάδων στροφών για να ανεβάσει θερμοκρασία το φίλτρο και να καθαρίσει (όσο μπορεί).
I believe we know how to use the product preventively as a help. I don't think it can work miracles, but it can improve situations. For the money it costs, it doesn't hurt to try it.

It works well as an EGR cleaner, which was my concern. When the check engine light comes on and I confirm with the OBD that it's an EGR issue, adding such an additive to the diesel tank solves the problem.

Opel Astra 16", 90k km ++, I drive 60 km back and forth for work. Every 2 months, I add a container of DPF and a Super Diesel Additive, and the regeneration frequency has increased to 30-40 days from around 20. I always use BP/EKO enhanced diesel fuel

Looking for a cleaner, I decided to get this one, because I trust the company as a brand (I used to buy lubricants from this particular brand).
The result after using it and driving in a specific way on the highway was that the light came on again, as did the filter indicator.
In short, it did nothing.
I had to buy another product and so far I have no problems.
I should note that I bought a much more expensive product that is on the market.
I repeat, this particular one did absolutely nothing.

Αποτέλεσμα μετά τη χρήση και με συγκεκριμένο τρόπο οδήγησης στην εθνική οδό, το λαμπάκι άναψε και παλι καθώς και η ένδειξη του φίλτρου.
Κοινώς δεν έκανε τίποτα.
Αναγκάστηκε και πήρα άλλο προϊόν και μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχω προβλήματα.
Να σημειώσω ότι αγόρασα αρκετά πιο ακριβό προϊόν που κυκλοφορεί.
Ξαναλέω το συγκεκριμένο δεν έκανε απολύτως τίποτα.

I didn't have increased consumption (before) and fortunately no strange warning lights (before and after)...
Maybe I have a slightly better throttle response but it could just be my imagination...

I use this from time to time, about once a month, when I go to fill up with diesel, etc. I specifically ask for this product because I read that it is good. Βάζω που και που απο αυτό μια φορα τον μηνα, οταν παω να βαλω πετρελαιο κτλ. Ζητάω το συγκεκριμενο προιον γιατι διαβασα οτι ειναι καλό. Προληπτικά και μονο το βάζω για να προστατεψει το φίλτρο κατακράτησης σωματιδίων πετρελαίου. Τωρα, εαν κανει δουλεια ή όχι δεν το ξέρω. Θα το διαπιστωασω εαν υπαρξει ποτέ βλάβη στο DPF (ελπιζω πως όχι)

I noticed that it works and its effect lasts for a few weeks. But don't be fooled, after 3 weeks, if you drive in the city without taking trips for regeneration, the car will clog up again.
As a precaution, I will use it once a year.
The only solution to avoid issues with regenerations is to take a drive once a week for 60-80 kilometers at 2,500-3,000 rpm so the filter heats up and cleans itself (as much as possible).

Η μόνη λύση για να μην έχετε θέμα με αναγεννήσεις είναι να κάνετε μια φορά την εβδομάδα μια βόλτα 60-80 χιλιόμετρα εντός των 2.5-3 χιλιάδων στροφών για να ανεβάσει θερμοκρασία το φίλτρο και να καθαρίσει (όσο μπορεί).
I believe we know how to use the product preventively as a help. I don't think it can work miracles, but it can improve situations. For the money it costs, it doesn't hurt to try it.

Opel Astra 16", 90k km ++, I drive 60 km back and forth for work. Every 2 months, I add a container of DPF and a Super Diesel Additive, and the regeneration frequency has increased to 30-40 days from around 20. I always use BP/EKO enhanced diesel fuel
