    - SUMMARY
High price, large device volume for nothing, quite problematic sound result that is empty, with a great lack of bass, and quite wrong and fake, not suitable for good music and voice listening, more for radio. In other sound sources things are definitely more decent (although, of course, you can't say they are good), especially on CD (the source of good sound does not highlight the problematic elements of its musical character, which have disastrous results on the radio - no doubt, however, that the sound is fake and inadequate).
Real bass... forget it (there is almost no substitute for bass, except for the CLASSIC option of the equalizer, which gives something slight (not real bass of course) to deceive you).
Also forget any naturalness in the sound (it is quite fake).
The radio reception is excellent and the device is very user-friendly.
Due to the sound (which is particularly difficult to hear on the radio), it is not recommended, not only for its price category but also at a lower price in my opinion. A purchase that you will regret.
Especially if you are very interested in the radio, its excellent reception is wasted due to its poor sound. If I were limited only to the sound from the radio, I would have given it 1 star.
    -------------------------
I will try to provide enough information about this specific boombox, but the conclusion is that it is not worth its money. I should have given it 1.5+ stars for the approximately 110 euros it costs, so in the end I will choose 2 stars, so as not to completely bury it.
It is called a boombox but you won't find the boom, meaning the bass.
Its volume is large but this does not translate into full sound and bass, but the exact opposite is true.
The following, as characteristics of its sound for other sources as well, apply much more to the radio, which is, however, one of the main uses of such a device.
The bass is shallow and weak and the sound is empty, and to help it, to somewhat fill the sound and make it appear fuller, the device needs to be placed close to the wall and the surface it sits on should protrude quite a bit in front of its front panel to help with the reflected sound. If it is in a position that has a surface above-below-right-left (and also desirable behind), even better. If all these things are not done, you may have to resort to the CLASSIC equalizer setting, which enhances the low-mid frequencies and fills the empty sound to a considerable extent, in a not so natural way of course, it will make it quite muffled and reduce clarity and detail - but what can we do? - we can't get some real bass no matter what. With placement like the ones I mentioned before, you will probably prefer the ROCK setting, which has more highs and clarity, it is more convincing although still empty (but not artificially inflated), but it is a setting that you may prefer anyway in the end, because it seems better. However, all these previous attempts are actually desperate attempts to achieve something that is not possible. When you play the radio and look at the machine, you can't believe that this somewhat small and empty sound comes from something so bulky.
The sound in general, apart from being quite empty, is a bit unnatural and artificial, and it appears quite fake, something that you immediately notice in comparison with something else more normal. It seems like it has gone through a lot of filters, so it sounds processed and not real. It is rounded, not balanced at all, its colors are way above acceptable levels and greatly distort the tones (there is a very emphasized area of the spectrum that, besides negatively affecting other sounds, also makes the voice sound nasal and unnatural). It lacks naturalness and warmth, which I consider worse than the lack of bass.

While the sound on the radio is almost tolerable, other audio sources (which naturally have better sound quality) sound more decent (especially on CDs), although still far from "good". Of course, there is always this feeling of empty sound and lack of bass, but compared to the radio, the sound is much better, albeit with a less annoying fake and nasal tone, especially on CDs.

I haven't tried the Bluetooth yet.

The radio, however, has excellent reception and the device is very user-friendly. It has enough volume (not that it passes for 25 W), and when you increase the volume, the sound becomes bigger and more convincing, but its colors and lack of bass make it sound like it's shouting.

It has next and previous folder buttons (but you have to press them annoyingly long, while a quick press moves 10 tracks forward // in my opinion, it should work the other way around).

It doesn't have a timer off or extra bass, but I don't think it's missing anything else.

And something about the display. In order to see it clearly, the device needs to be lower than you. If it's not, it disappears straight on, but from a certain angle and beyond (horizontally), it's somewhat difficult to read.

It has caused me a problem that I don't know what to do about. At some point, no matter which button I pressed on the remote control, the device would turn off. I turned it back on, pressed any button, and it turned off again. After a relatively short period of time, it stopped doing that and has been working fine since. At some point, I moved it to a different position (and socket), and it did it again for a very short time, and then everything went back to normal. I don't know what to do about it now because it might not show this problem when I take it to the service.

Conclusion - at around 110 euros, it is a lot of money and it doesn't justify it at all. Clearly, you can get better and cheaper options. I personally find its sound unnatural and wrong (which is even more evident on the radio, but also on other sources), so I say no even for a lower price.

Lastly, regardless of this specific device, I will wonder again why Sencor stopped producing the amazing SSS 301, which I luckily managed to buy two units for myself and one as a gift, and which was the ultimate purchase.
