The Radeon R7 240 from Asus is aimed at everyday users who use their computer for basic tasks, such as internet browsing, text editing, and multimedia viewing. It offers enough power for daily needs but is not designed for demanding graphics tasks.

Equipped with 2GB memory of type GDDR5, Memory Bus 128bit and clock speed at 4600Mhz. The processor speed reaches 730Mhz. It connects to the computer via PCI Express x16 3.0 communication bus and does not require extra power cables, as it draws power from the motherboard's PCI-Express slot.     Έχω την 4gb έκδοση αυτής της κάρτας. Η κάρτα αυτή αγοραστικές το '14 για το workstation-light gaming PC που βλέπετε στην εικόνα. Η κάρτα με είχε ικανοποιήσει αρκετά τα τελευταία χρόνια επειδή έτρεχε όλα τα παιχνίδια μέχρι και assetto corsa με sol reshade σε 1600x900 ανάλυση medium-high settings. Τρέχει αρκετά AAA games που έχω εκτός από Metro exodus, just cause 4, watch dogs 2(το 1 με 28 fps lowest settings).
    Θετικά:
    Μικρή σε μέγεθος και καλό performance για δουλειές γραφείου και λίγο gaming. Δεν χρειάζεται κάποιο καλώδιο για την τροφοδοσία ρεύματος. Καταναλώνει ελάχιστο ρεύμα επειδή είναι low profile. Καλή θερμοκρασία σε GTA rp (45fps low settings με σκιές και max θερμοκρασία 72 βαθμοί). Έχει μέγιστη ανάλυση την 4k αλλά με το ζόρι έχει 30 fps στο homescreen των windows 10.

    Αρνητικά:
    Δεν είναι η έκδοση με GDDR5 vram αλλά η έκδοση με GDDR3. Άρα δεν έχει το ίδιο performance με μια GDDR5 έκδοση. Χάνει αρκετά fps λόγο αυτού και μερικές φορές στο GTA rp πέφτεις από γραφικά. Έχει αρχιτεκτονική 28nm που σημαίνει ότι καίει πολύ παραπάνω ρεύμα σε σχέση με μια gt1030 low profile oc.

    Ο υπολογιστής άρχισε να κάνει κάτι τρέλες και η οθόνη σβήνει και ανοίγει και ακούγετε ένα τακ από τον υπολογιστή. Υποψιάζομαι ότι είναι είτε η κάρτα γραφικών είτε ένας από τους σκληρούς δίσκους.

    Αγοράστηκε το 2014 στα 55€ για ένα εργασιακό μικρό desktop που είχε επείγουσα ανάγκη από μια low profile gpu και δεν είχε integrated graphics.Μια αγορά την οποία μετάνιωσα με τον καιρό γιατί δεν γνώριζα τότε από τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά αλλιώς θα προτιμούσα την gt 710 ή την 730 που ήταν vfm και με το παραπάνω και θα σήκωναν και λίγο gaming παραπάνω.

    Μικρή σε μέγεθος και καλό performance για δουλειές γραφείου και λίγο gaming. Δεν χρειάζεται κάποιο καλώδιο για την τροφοδοσία ρεύματος. Καταναλώνει ελάχιστο ρεύμα επειδή είναι low profile. Καλή θερμοκρασία σε GTA rp (45fps low settings με σκιές και max θερμοκρασία 72 βαθμοί). Έχει μέγιστη ανάλυση την 4k αλλά με το ζόρι έχει 30 fps στο homescreen των windows 10.

    Αρνητικά:
    Δεν είναι η έκδοση με GDDR5 vram αλλά η έκδοση με GDDR3. Άρα δεν έχει το ίδιο performance με μια GDDR5 έκδοση. Χάνει αρκετά fps λόγο αυτού και μερικές φορές στο GTA rp πέφτεις από γραφικά. Έχει αρχιτεκτονική 28nm που σημαίνει ότι καίει πολύ παραπάνω ρεύμα σε σχέση με μια gt1030 low profile oc.

    Update 29/08/21

    Ο υπολογιστής άρχισε να κάνει κάτι τρέλες και η οθόνη σβήνει και ανοίγει και ακούγετε ένα τακ από τον υπολογιστή. Υποψιάζομαι ότι είναι είτε η κάρτα γραφικών είτε ένας από τους σκληρούς δίσκους.

    Αγοράστηκε το 2014 στα 55€ για ένα εργασιακό μικρό desktop που είχε επείγουσα ανάγκη από μια low profile gpu και δεν είχε integrated graphics.Μια αγορά την οποία μετάνιωσα με τον καιρό γιατί δεν γνώριζα τότε από τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά αλλιώς θα προτιμούσα την gt 710 ή την 730 που ήταν vfm και με το παραπάνω και θα σήκωναν και λίγο gaming παραπάνω.
