Despite their beneficial properties, the use of essential oils requires caution and attention as they are highly concentrated, volatile, and deeply penetrating substances that can be harmful if used freely.

Essential oils should not be used without the advice of a professional aromatherapist, pharmacist, or doctor. Especially in the following cases:

• During pregnancy and breastfeeding
• In individuals with serious health problems
• In infants and children under 12 years old
• In case of allergy to essential oils

• Avoid ingestion and eye contact. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water and contact your doctor.
• Do not use undiluted on the skin. We recommend diluting them in a base (e.g. carrier oil) when they come into contact with the skin.
• Before first use, apply a small amount to a spot on your skin to check for possible allergic reactions.
• Avoid exposure to sunlight, as there is a risk of photosensitivity, especially with citrus essential oils such as bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, and orange.
• Keep away from sources of flame as they are flammable.
• In elderly individuals, it is advisable to use smaller quantities.
