Always start with 800 grit sandpaper (coarse) and continue with finer grits 1200 – 2000.
- Pour clean water into the bottom of the kit's package and soak the sandpapers in the water for 5 – 10 minutes.
- Place protective tape around the headlight.
- Sand the headlight evenly without much pressure using the wet sandpapers in the order 800 – 1200 – 2000 (from coarser to finer).
- For better results, use a screwdriver or an electric tool for sanding with the provided adapter.
- The sandpapers should be continuously wet, and make sure to use all the sandpapers for the best results.
- Remove the sandpapers from the base and after cleaning the headlight from dust and the special base, place the sponge and polish with the compound until you achieve the desired result. Again, using an electric tool will help a lot.
- Finally, apply a thin layer of UV protection compound with the sponge.
- After finishing, do not wash the headlight for a while until the applied compound fully dries.
