    I bought this saw for cutting branches based on the experiences of others with the samurai. This saw has a very thin blade that easily bends and thin teeth with small spacing, which does not make it ideal for cutting wood (the thicker the worse). It is only logical for carpentry work. For cutting wood, you need large, thick teeth with a large spacing. I do not know about the other models of samurai, maybe they have different teeth. However, this particular one cuts much slower than the hand saws I had before, which were also much cheaper.
