Tank

The water storage tank features an internal enamel coating, which covers the interior of the tank at every point and results from the application of enamel (glass) onto metal. This ensures that it is protected from rust, as the water does not come into contact with the walls, thus always ensuring clean drinking water.

The collector has a surface area of 4m², capable of producing up to 400 liters of hot water. It is selective, the type most commonly used in solar water heaters in recent years. It has lower heat losses compared to a simple collector, thus offering higher efficiency.

Additionally, it features a special titanium coating, which minimizes thermal losses and provides better performance and greater economy.

  • The glass of the solar collector is tempered safety glass and is designed to withstand hail and rainfall of all intensities.
  • All Mastersol collectors are tested at a pressure of 15bar to ensure they withstand the high pressures developed inside during the hot months in Greece.

Triple Energy

It is triple energy, meaning it has the capability to operate in three ways: with solar energy, with electric energy, or with hot water from the home's central heating. This means that inside the water tank there is an electric resistance, as well as a coil through which the hot water from the radiator produced by the central heating boiler circulates. Thus, on days with little sunshine due to cloudiness, you can activate your solar water heater either with electric energy or from the boiler, to always have hot water.

    I am very satisfied even though I have been using it for a short time. It maintains hot water for a sufficient amount of time. The only thing I didn't like is the base of the tank, very simple and not sturdy at all. I had to reinforce it with iron, but I imagine this has nothing to do with the quality of the water heater. I will come back if anything changes.
