The best thing there is in a 55-inch!!!!!! With endless hours of gaming. I haven't tried the newer models but the TV is simply epic. The Magic Remote control relaxes you. Zero lag, amazing response in the menu. Owner since it first came to Greece!!!!

Amazing picture (like OLEDs have) and excellent sound that easily deserve 5 stars rating, but within the first year it developed a stuck pixel, which according to LG is not covered by the warranty (!!!), only burnt pixels are covered... This means that if none of the solutions available work, I will be left with a green pixel on the screen, something that may not sound terrible if it happened on an LCD but on OLED it directly hits the eye...

I was very disappointed with LG's handling of the situation, as it was a company that I held in high regard. Such treatment is unacceptable when you purchase such an expensive product, which is why I am giving it 2 stars.

I bought it 2.5 months ago!! Wonderful colors, perfect sound that I have at low volume because it can't handle louder (it has powerful sound)!! I bought it for 1350€ and now its price has increased while the c9, which was 2800 and now dropped to 1580!! I am very satisfied

I have had it for about a month. I don't hide my weakness for the vibrant colors of Samsung, which I had and I was quite skeptical, to be honest.
Looking to buy, I discovered it through its distinctions, in international top choices for TVs in 2019. One, two, ...three - in this price category, it caught my interest (actually the D8), so as soon as it went on sale, I ended up with the C8 (purchased for 1,199 euros).
I truly have no words! I don't know what is better, to admire it when it's closed or when it's in operation? It is simply a gem, a thin glass panel in my living room!
Its menu easily surpasses the equivalent of Samsung, being the epitome of ease and practicality - for me. Its picture is unbeatable and the black scenes in movies are truly enjoyable. Add to that the sound (Atmos) and I guarantee it will captivate you. I probably rushed with the soundbar (Yamaha YST2700) that I bought to accompany it, as it already has sound that is far above decent levels on its own.
Only its reliability remains to be proven, although I hear that I should have trust in the support of the Greek representation.
From what I have written, you can understand that I am very excited about my purchase. That's it!
I'm going to watch a movie...

Edit 01/10/20: After a year+, I can confidently give it another star. No issues, unbeatable image and sound quality, enjoyable hours of viewing. It's worth every last cent!

The most fanatic screen there is right now. The black it produces simply mesmerizes you, the colors are exceptional and the image quality is TOP NOTCH!!! I would have liked the LG OLED 2018 models to have Harman Kardon speakers because I have heard the sound of the LG 2017 OLED that has Harman Kardon SPEAKERS and it was perfect, as if it had an integrated SOUNDBAR.

After almost 2.5 years, I want to add some negatives that will definitely help many. My TV burned three times in two years. The company changed the panel twice and the third time, where according to their policy I should have been compensated, they blamed me for burning the panel and I simply lost my money and was left without a TV. The conclusions are yours.

M I N D - B L O W I N G. The best I have seen in terms of picture, sound, and material quality. Former owner of Q8 2018, no comparison, I wouldn't change it for anything. Everything is perfect on it.

The television is amazing. The picture is surreal. The design of the speaker delivers sound to the user in such a way that you feel like you don't need to buy a sound bar. Especially with Dolby Atmos, the result is impressive. I read about the burn-in and vertical band issues and got a deal with a 5-year warranty. Especially for burn-in, though, it has several safety measures. For example, if you press pause on a video, after a few seconds, screen protection kicks in and protects you from static images. You can also set a timer, and after a period of inactivity, it will turn off and protect the screen from static images again

I change high-end televisions every two years, but this time I think I found my port. There is nothing better than OLED for use in a dark room. Excellent build quality, excellent upscaling, endless picture settings, even in HDR, the best sound out of all the TVs I've had, all with a brightness of 35! Very fast response due to the A9. Dolby Vision on Netflix and Apple 4K TV are amazing! As for references to vertical banding, I have no trace of it. Until there is hardware in 8K out there, and with a 5-year warranty, I see myself staying here

I have had this specific television for almost 3 weeks. The impressions it has left me with are extremely positive. With some small changes in the settings, movies look like a cinema room. The sound is satisfactory. For sound enthusiasts, either a soundbar or a complete home cinema system will be needed. The black display is extremely realistic. I don't have any negative thoughts to consider. Of course, I cannot compare it to other LG models because I was initially torn between the C8 and the Sony AF8. But in a side-by-side comparison, playing my own video, the LG seemed superior.

Ok, everyone knows that it is the best panel available right now, and beyond that, I will tell you my impressions. It indeed has a beautiful black and you can see without the image changing from all angles, the menu is very fast, the sound is very good and powerful, and it also has a subwoofer driver at the back of the TV. It is incredibly thin, even thinner than my mobile phone. When you turn it on, it has the eco mode as a standard in the picture profiles, and it is very dark. I would recommend putting it on Standard for impressiveness, and if you want accuracy, then the Technicolor profile is the best, but it needs to be adjusted only by increasing the back OLED from 25 to 60 if there is little light in the room, and 80 if there is a lot of light. Personally, I set it to 100 and then opened the energy saver picture. In auto mode so that the TV adjusts the backlighting according to the room's light. This is the ultimate setup since I measured it with a device, and no changes need to be made. At first, it may seem a bit dark, but you will get used to it day by day, it is more natural compared to LED panels, which are overly bright and not realistic. Also, regarding the so-called burn-in that concerns some people, apart from being difficult to happen, you would have to watch the same channel for more than 4 hours every day. In these specific models of 2018, there are three safeguards: first, the TV dims the channel logos, second, it has an auto movement for static images for a long time, and third, when we turn off the TV, it does an auto refresh for protection (it can also be done manually). So, in order to experience burn-in, you would have to intentionally leave them on and have the TV on for 24 hours on the same channel for a long time. This is not realistic. As for the vertical banding that some people mention, all OLEDs have it. It's like saying VA edge panels have light bleed at the edges. In normal viewing and not in a test with a gray background and dimmed lights, you can't see anything. 99% of the time, you won't even notice it in normal content and as long as the TV is playing. Update: This is purely related to the LG Hellas service. It caused me a problem and unfortunately, I had 2 months of inconvenience with no response at all from LG Hellas and emails. Unfortunately, only LG from abroad is okay.

I received this specific TV as a replacement from LG Service, as my B6 had permanent burn-in after 16 months. It has incredible picture quality with much better sound, as its speakers are 2.2 with an integrated subwoofer. The viewing angle remains very good even from a wide angle. However, the most noticeable difference is that it has a new processor and everything works flawlessly (its menu, USB or external hard disks) Netflix, YouTube, etc.

Αν μπορει να μου απαντησει το παληκαρι που ειπε πως πηρε αυτη την τηλεοραση επειδη η προηγουμενη Oled που ειχε του παρουσιασε Burn in. Σε ποσο βαθμο ηταν ενοχλητικο το Burn in και σου την αλλαξαν? Έκανε μπαμ ή απλα ηταν ορατο?

Καλησπερα φίλε μου. Τα burn in καψίματα σταμάτησαν στα μοντέλα σειράς 7. Β7 , C7 κτλ κτλ.
Εχω την C8 από το 2018. Με άπειρο καψιμο σε gaming , ταινίες , νετφλιξ!!! Σίγουρα θα εντυπωσιαστείς έχει Dolby vision, Dolby Arnos ,HDR, σε Disney+ έχω δει και 4Κ imax που στα village αυτό έχει 15€ το εισιτήριο. Να σε δω πως θα την χωρέσεις στο αμάξι όταν την πάρεις χαχα. Να ναι καλά ο φίλος μου ο Γιαμπ εμένα ?. Αυτά και καλή αγορά.

Γεια σας . Έχω ένα πρόβλημα η oled δεν πρόλαβε να κάνει compensation cycles . Την έσβησα κανονικά από το τηλεκοντρόλ αλλά λόγω διακοπής ρεύματος σβήνει από το ρεύμα . Το ups μου έκλεισε και αυτό μετά από 2 λεπτά . Αποτέλεσμα να μην ανάβει τώρα . Τι γίνεται ; Έχει εγγύηση .θα μου την αλλάξουν ;

Amazing picture (like OLEDs have) and excellent sound that easily deserve 5 stars rating, but within the first year it developed a stuck pixel, which according to LG is not covered by the warranty (!!!), only burnt pixels are covered... This means that if none of the solutions available work, I will be left with a green pixel on the screen, something that may not sound terrible if it happened on an LCD but on OLED it directly hits the eye...

I was very disappointed with LG's handling of the situation, as it was a company that I held in high regard. Such treatment is unacceptable when you purchase such an expensive product, which is why I am giving it 2 stars.

I bought it 2.5 months ago!! Wonderful colors, perfect sound that I have at low volume because it can't handle louder (it has powerful sound)!! I bought it for 1350€ and now its price has increased while the c9, which was 2800 and now dropped to 1580!! I am very satisfied

I have had it for about a month. I don't hide my weakness for the vibrant colors of Samsung, which I had and I was quite skeptical, to be honest.
Looking to buy, I discovered it through its distinctions, in international top choices for TVs in 2019. One, two, ...three - in this price category, it caught my interest (actually the D8), so as soon as it went on sale, I ended up with the C8 (purchased for 1,199 euros).
I truly have no words! I don't know what is better, to admire it when it's closed or when it's in operation? It is simply a gem, a thin glass panel in my living room!
Its menu easily surpasses the equivalent of Samsung, being the epitome of ease and practicality - for me. Its picture is unbeatable and the black scenes in movies are truly enjoyable. Add to that the sound (Atmos) and I guarantee it will captivate you. I probably rushed with the soundbar (Yamaha YST2700) that I bought to accompany it, as it already has sound that is far above decent levels on its own.
Only its reliability remains to be proven, although I hear that I should have trust in the support of the Greek representation.
From what I have written, you can understand that I am very excited about my purchase. That's it!
I'm going to watch a movie...

Edit 01/10/20: After a year+, I can confidently give it another star. No issues, unbeatable image and sound quality, enjoyable hours of viewing. It's worth every last cent!

Quality image, deep black, powerful and clear sound, all connections, fast operation, user-friendly menu, slim and lightweight, nice design, worth every euro. I got it for 1199 with the discount, which is not a small amount of money, but in my opinion, you don't need to spend more for a Samsung Sony

The most fanatic screen there is right now. The black it produces simply mesmerizes you, the colors are exceptional and the image quality is TOP NOTCH!!! I would have liked the LG OLED 2018 models to have Harman Kardon speakers because I have heard the sound of the LG 2017 OLED that has Harman Kardon SPEAKERS and it was perfect, as if it had an integrated SOUNDBAR.

After almost 2.5 years, I want to add some negatives that will definitely help many. My TV burned three times in two years. The company changed the panel twice and the third time, where according to their policy I should have been compensated, they blamed me for burning the panel and I simply lost my money and was left without a TV. The conclusions are yours.

M I N D - B L O W I N G. The best I have seen in terms of picture, sound, and material quality. Former owner of Q8 2018, no comparison, I wouldn't change it for anything. Everything is perfect on it.

The television is amazing. The picture is surreal. The design of the speaker delivers sound to the user in such a way that you feel like you don't need to buy a sound bar. Especially with Dolby Atmos, the result is impressive. I read about the burn-in and vertical band issues and got a deal with a 5-year warranty. Especially for burn-in, though, it has several safety measures. For example, if you press pause on a video, after a few seconds, screen protection kicks in and protects you from static images. You can also set a timer, and after a period of inactivity, it will turn off and protect the screen from static images again

I change high-end televisions every two years, but this time I think I found my port. There is nothing better than OLED for use in a dark room. Excellent build quality, excellent upscaling, endless picture settings, even in HDR, the best sound out of all the TVs I've had, all with a brightness of 35! Very fast response due to the A9. Dolby Vision on Netflix and Apple 4K TV are amazing! As for references to vertical banding, I have no trace of it. Until there is hardware in 8K out there, and with a 5-year warranty, I see myself staying here

Good image but there is a major issue with vertical banding. I sent the first one for replacement and the second one is slightly better in "luck". Honestly, it's not worth the money.

I have had this specific television for almost 3 weeks. The impressions it has left me with are extremely positive. With some small changes in the settings, movies look like a cinema room. The sound is satisfactory. For sound enthusiasts, either a soundbar or a complete home cinema system will be needed. The black display is extremely realistic. I don't have any negative thoughts to consider. Of course, I cannot compare it to other LG models because I was initially torn between the C8 and the Sony AF8. But in a side-by-side comparison, playing my own video, the LG seemed superior.

Ok, everyone knows that it is the best panel available right now, and beyond that, I will tell you my impressions. It indeed has a beautiful black and you can see without the image changing from all angles, the menu is very fast, the sound is very good and powerful, and it also has a subwoofer driver at the back of the TV. It is incredibly thin, even thinner than my mobile phone. When you turn it on, it has the eco mode as a standard in the picture profiles, and it is very dark. I would recommend putting it on Standard for impressiveness, and if you want accuracy, then the Technicolor profile is the best, but it needs to be adjusted only by increasing the back OLED from 25 to 60 if there is little light in the room, and 80 if there is a lot of light. Personally, I set it to 100 and then opened the energy saver picture. In auto mode so that the TV adjusts the backlighting according to the room's light. This is the ultimate setup since I measured it with a device, and no changes need to be made. At first, it may seem a bit dark, but you will get used to it day by day, it is more natural compared to LED panels, which are overly bright and not realistic. Also, regarding the so-called burn-in that concerns some people, apart from being difficult to happen, you would have to watch the same channel for more than 4 hours every day. In these specific models of 2018, there are three safeguards: first, the TV dims the channel logos, second, it has an auto movement for static images for a long time, and third, when we turn off the TV, it does an auto refresh for protection (it can also be done manually). So, in order to experience burn-in, you would have to intentionally leave them on and have the TV on for 24 hours on the same channel for a long time. This is not realistic. As for the vertical banding that some people mention, all OLEDs have it. It's like saying VA edge panels have light bleed at the edges. In normal viewing and not in a test with a gray background and dimmed lights, you can't see anything. 99% of the time, you won't even notice it in normal content and as long as the TV is playing. Update: This is purely related to the LG Hellas service. It caused me a problem and unfortunately, I had 2 months of inconvenience with no response at all from LG Hellas and emails. Unfortunately, only LG from abroad is okay.

I received this specific TV as a replacement from LG Service, as my B6 had permanent burn-in after 16 months. It has incredible picture quality with much better sound, as its speakers are 2.2 with an integrated subwoofer. The viewing angle remains very good even from a wide angle. However, the most noticeable difference is that it has a new processor and everything works flawlessly (its menu, USB or external hard disks) Netflix, YouTube, etc.

I bought it in 2018. Without much use in the first 2 years. In the third year, it developed burn-in. Luckily, I had purchased the 5-year warranty. Today, an update arrived with a panel replacement after one week. For now, everything is good

The best thing there is in a 55-inch!!!!!! With endless hours of gaming. I haven't tried the newer models but the TV is simply epic. The Magic Remote control relaxes you. Zero lag, amazing response in the menu. Owner since it first came to Greece!!!!
