The design of the U-ART 1.9" tweeter is based on that used in the X-ART and S-ART tweeters, which are used in the AX series and S series monitors, respectively.

U-ART Tweeter
The design of the U-ART 1.9" tweeter is based on that used in the X-ART and S-ART tweeters, which are used in the AX series and S series monitors, respectively.
HPS WAVEGUIDE
The HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) waveguide was originally designed at ADAM Audio for the S-ART tweeter of the S Series with the help of the most advanced computer modeling techniques. It improves the dispersion of the speakers into a uniform, consistent coherence, wide on the horizontal axis but strictly focused on the vertical plane. This minimizes potentially annoying reflections from the horizontal surfaces of important studio furniture (for example, mixing consoles), ensures that imaging remains stable, and creates a large, well-controlled, and stable "sweet spot," even at high output levels.
PW/M
PWM (pulse width modulation) – sometimes referred to as Class D amplification, sometimes called Switching Amp technology – converts the incoming signal into a series of rectangular waveforms of equal height. The width of the rectangles varies over time, and the ratio of the width of the rectangles represents the musical signal. This waveform can be amplified much more simply, as the transistors are no longer modulated – instead, they are used as switches that only turn the supply voltage on and off.
