Good filter coffee, with a classic aroma and mild taste like all Illy, but it doesn't offer anything special for its price. It is consistent and of good quality, but there are more affordable options that give a similar result. If you like this particular flavor profile, it's ok, but overall it doesn't justify its cost.

This coffee is not bitter, so it is pleasantly enjoyed plain with a little milk. Personal opinion, some may disagree.

I consider the aroma and flavor of this coffee to be among the best and most balanced that you can find in ready-ground coffee; also, the way it is packaged (the coffee is under pressure inside the box) helps it stay fluffy and maintain its aroma. Of course, you shouldn't expect the first servings to have the same aroma and flavor as the last ones, as with the opening of the package and the passage of time, there is a relative oxidation of the product, something inevitable with all airtight packaging. The taste and aroma, of course, are a matter of personal preference for each of us; in any case, I believe this coffee is worth a try

I don't know what went so wrong with this Illy... In a pressurized portafilter on the Delonghi 685, no matter what you do, it comes out as a horrible black, watery mess with minimal flow. The grind is completely wrong...
The Dimello Forza, which is much finer, produces amazing coffee.

First of all, I agree with all the above comments about the finely ground coffee. It requires a less strong pressure for the coffee to flow at normal levels.
It is of a higher quality than Lavazza and Dimello (aroma), which was the best commercial coffee I had tried. Illy espresso normal is of higher quality without any tremendous difference compared to Dimello, which I prefer.
Nice taste without bitterness or acidity, moderate "crema" and body.
I'm not sure if it is value for money considering its price (€6.85 when Lavazza (oro mountain) and Dimello (aroma) are around €4 and the taste difference is small), but it is definitely worth a try

For Delonghi Dedica, it is the best out of all that I have tried. Both in coffee density and in aroma and freshness.

I like this coffee much more than Lavazza, Jacobs, and Dimello (mentioned in the comments), simply because it is not as strong and bitter. It depends on everyone's taste. Apart from that, the aroma is not something extraordinary and the crema is minimal. It could have been cheaper.

I bought it due to reviews and it was recommended to me (they had only tried it outside, not homemade). The scent is almost non-existent and the taste as well. Even though I added double the amount of the regular dose to my freddo cappuccino, the cappuccino's taste is immediately ruined, even with ice cubes that don't melt. I tried it with espresso and the same thing happened. I did many tests with the Arielli km-501 and with a briki, but the result was the same. It is much inferior to my taste compared to the loose coffee from the neighborhood or the Jacobs coffee

I use this coffee in a purex sb 380 machine with 20 bars. It makes a very good foam and even though I didn't used to drink hot espresso with it (sweet), I got used to it. Of course, because the blend is 100% arabica, it breaks very quickly, especially when you mix in sugar. Recently, I tried it with frappé (it didn't work well due to a weak frother), but with effort, it makes a very creamy and nice coffee that reminds me of the coffee in my region!

In Arielli km 511, illy becomes somewhat sour, with a mediocre taste and aroma. When I opened the box, it didn't have the aroma I was expecting. The foam is good. I will try other coffees next.

Whatever I bought from other coffee brands, and especially high-quality ones, I believe that illy is the best. And then I would put jacobs and the black lavazza oro, which come close to illy and are cheaper.

I have tried many coffees (Dimello, Lavazza, Portioli, Starbucks, Costa, a German one from Lidl, Coffee Island, Hausabang, Luigi, Buondi), BUT NONE LIKE ILLY!!!! ILLY is equally good in espresso and cappuccino, but if you prefer something hotter, then Lavazza, Portioli, and Buondi are good choices.

Mediocre to bad coffee... There are Lavazza blends that have better body, aroma, and flavor and cost honestly half the price.

I do not consider it to be one of the best coffees. Despite having an illy espresso machine at home, the coffee does not come out nice for me. Lavazza and Dimello, although they are cheaper coffees, are also more flavorful in my opinion.

Nice aroma and intensity, without the unpleasant bitterness that other brands (Dimello, Lavazza, etc.) leave behind. Together with Hausbrandt, the best.

I don't know what's wrong, but the coffee is the worst I've ever had. It's so finely ground that it becomes mud in the filter and it doesn't flow well, resulting in 40 grams coming out in 30 seconds for a double shot, and it's very bitter. I regretted spending the 7 euros and it didn't even make it to the trash from the first day.

Because I liked this particular coffee, I decided to give it another chance and buy it from a different store. Same exact packaging, everything the same, but I bought it elsewhere. It's completely different from before. The coffee flows normally without any issues. Along with Pellini Top and Hausbrandt Gourmet Columbus, it's the best packaged coffee available
