Simply disgusting, both in price and taste, this thing is definitely not espresso, and the price increase along with the reduction in quantity is an even more miserable move. Honestly, I prefer to pay once for an expensive machine and buy quality ground varieties, rather than paying supposedly for freddo coffee at much higher prices over a year of use, because if you think that you are charging the consumer over 70 euros per kilo for this thing, you are mistaken.

Coffee is the best choice for someone to get close to the taste of the freddo espresso we drink at good cafes.......but nevertheless its price keeps rising, it has reached 7.5 euros in supermarkets, which is outrageous for 95g of coffee, it's outrageous what we live through, the salaries we get, to spend so much money for an instant coffee

Perfect instant coffee... I have no complaints about the product but about its pricing situation. At one time, you could buy 120g for 4.5 euros, they reduced the packaging during COVID to 95g with a simultaneous increase in price to 6 euros, and now they are reducing the packaging again to 90g for about the same money.

A full teaspoon in two fingers of warm (NOT BOILING, up to eighty degrees) water and we have a very high-quality espresso at minimal cost. I've been drinking it at home for five or six years and haven't bought a machine; it remains very honest.

Okay, obviously it doesn't make it a top-tier coffee. But since frappé has deteriorated a lot in taste over the years, I take this as its replacement. Much better than frappé, but that's about it.

I'm dropping a star after years of drinking it, just because of its current price. It's unbelievable that 90 grams of this coffee now costs an average of €6.50. I only buy plenty when it's on offer, with the classic at €4.30 and the intenso at €3.90. Not even in Skroutz shops is it worth buying anymore, the most you can save is one euro

I suspect that it is not a high-quality coffee, like the expensive ones we get in capsules. And anyone who drinks espresso knows that this one is - in reality - something else, indeterminate what. However, it has a nice taste and is almost addictive. If you drink it once, you keep it at home forever. At least for the summer months..

The company constantly reduces the quantity contained in the packaging while simultaneously increasing the price (from 100 grams to 95 and now to 90). Furthermore, the quality is continuously downgraded. Although I am a fan of this particular coffee, I will switch to another brand that respects me as a consumer. The taste has been terrible lately!

If the process stated on the packaging is followed, it is very good.
Some people put too much water and lose the taste.
Also, it is important to keep in mind that we are talking about instant coffee and not a machine.
Nevertheless, it has nothing to envy.

I have been buying it for many years, but I think that at some point something changed in the taste. It cannot be compared to a coffee machine, of course, but it is not like the classic Nescafe either. Overall, I consider it a bit heavy and bitter, but it doesn't upset my stomach (I drink it black). Instant coffee always leaves a strange texture in my mouth and teeth, especially when hot, but this one is fine. As for the price, for at least 2 years now, it has been close to €6 / 100g and now I see packages of 95g. For this reason, I have already found a replacement with the same quality at €3.80 / 100g, just like this one was when it started, if I'm not mistaken.

Initially, some packages say "freddo espresso". Freddo is definitely not correct as freddo is the frozen version of a coffee. It is ground coffee that you can make freddo with. Now, it is not even espresso. It is an instant coffee.

I bought this particular coffee out of curiosity and it seemed very good. If you make it as the instructions say, it will turn out like a machine-made espresso without anyone realizing that it is hand-beaten with a mixer. And since the package is freshly opened, the coffee is not sour and it is definitely very strong in the dosage that the instructions suggest. If someone has a problem, half the amount of coffee is enough

Suddenly and out of nowhere, while I bought it twice for 3 something euros, I see it on the shelf yesterday for 5 something. Over 50 € per kilo. It's not worth it in this price category. Here is where Egberts instant espresso is at least one class above (and which you can buy with offers that big supermarkets often give for around 4 euros). Not from me (anymore) after the price increase

Espresso without a machine doesn't exist. This is something in between if you don't want something heavy like our usual frappé. However, it is very good for making frappuccino (with milk, caramel syrup, and crushed ice). Just like Starbucks!

Personally, I really liked it and as I read in a previous comment, it is very reliable if you can't or don't want to buy an espresso machine. Of course, it is different from the one you buy from coffee shops, but it doesn't mean it's not drinkable. It's great, I would buy it again.

Very good taste! Like a good coffee outside the house. I tried other instant Espresso and I didn't like any of them. I drink it cold with frothed milk or just add milk inside like in frappe so I don't have to bother. The only negative thing is that it needs to be stirred with hot water at the beginning and then you add a lot of ice cubes to cool it down.

    Verified purchase

The box was a bit crooked from the transportation but I kept it. Exactly as I expected. I would recommend it as an emergency solution

The taste is subjective, personally I did not like the old individual instant espresso sachets of the same company, they were much better. Neither is the price affordable for me. Whoever wants a good instant coffee should get the corresponding one in the glass jar

A simple frappe that is just more finely ground than what we know.... It is definitely not espresso. And the price is high for no reason

For an instant coffee, it is good and most importantly, it doesn't bother the stomach like these types of coffees usually do. It cannot be compared to a good espresso coffee from a machine, but you know.

For me, it is the best instant espresso. Strong enough to start your day without being bitter.

I pour two teaspoons of coffee into a cup of water. This particular coffee doesn't bother my stomach and it's not bitter either. Personally, I think it's worth it.

  • Simply disgusting, both in price and taste, this thing is definitely not espresso, and the price increase along with the reduction in quantity is an even more miserable move. Honestly, I prefer to pay once for an expensive machine and buy quality ground varieties, rather than paying supposedly for freddo coffee at much higher prices over a year of use, because if you think that you are charging the consumer over 70 euros per kilo for this thing, you are mistaken.

  • Coffee is the best choice for someone to get close to the taste of the freddo espresso we drink at good cafes.......but nevertheless its price keeps rising, it has reached 7.5 euros in supermarkets, which is outrageous for 95g of coffee, it's outrageous what we live through, the salaries we get, to spend so much money for an instant coffee

  • It’s not the perfect coffee, like the one you get outside, but for home, for something quick, it’s just fine!

  • Perfect instant coffee... I have no complaints about the product but about its pricing situation. At one time, you could buy 120g for 4.5 euros, they reduced the packaging during COVID to 95g with a simultaneous increase in price to 6 euros, and now they are reducing the packaging again to 90g for about the same money.

  • A full teaspoon in two fingers of warm (NOT BOILING, up to eighty degrees) water and we have a very high-quality espresso at minimal cost. I've been drinking it at home for five or six years and haven't bought a machine; it remains very honest.
