Heavy coffee and overpriced, it doesn't smell very aromatic like other coffees, although it has something unique, it is heavy in taste and sits in the stomach. It's not one of those coffees that you drink quickly and enjoy, but it makes an incredible espresso! Probably the most intense and best one I have ever tried. It has a strong roast, dark-colored coffee. I wouldn't buy it again, I won't be able to finish the whole box, my wife said the same thing! There is a variety of ILLY GUATEMALA that is worth trying!

First time I tried this specific coffee.
It is a nice coffee that retains its flavor even when the ice cubes melt. It has a unique taste! I have tried several brands, Mrs Rose, Dimello in coffee packaging, and this is the coffee that I like. First, I put Mrs Rose and then this one (smoky flavor)

When I first drank it, I had a sense of pleasure that I didn't have with other coffee brands, one of the best espresso coffees in my humble opinion.

Tested on Gruppe Italiana. Nice aroma, finely ground (spreads nicely in the portafilter) and for this reason it doesn't require a strong tamp because it tends to clog. If you do it this way, it has a nice flavor. If you tamp it strongly.. it's average and it upsets my stomach. Overall, it's a nice coffee, but expensive (like Housebrand and Illy). I consider 10.5E with shipping to be too much because, for example, Bouondi, the green one, has practically the same result for half the price.

Good coffee, tasty but with a quite high price. If the price was lower, I would definitely prefer it. For now, I go with Costa Coffee, with a price around 4€ for the same quantity.

The best coffee I have ever tasted. And my whole family agrees who tried it. I tried it without descaling the coffee machine and it was exceptional. After cleaning it, it was even better.

As soon as you open the box, it smells like being in a coffee plantation. The tree, the fruit, the surrounding flowers. It had already won me over.

During brewing, it also smelled wonderful. And it's that heavy coffee aroma that you smell in coffee shops and it takes you on a journey.

Finally, its taste, the perfect combination of intensity, flavor, and creaminess, as everything was as it should be, in perfect balance.

Unfortunately, I was swayed by the comments and I was disappointed. I drink freddo espresso made with Gaggia Carezza. The coffee has a lot of strength (it reminds me more of robusta than arabica), without sweetness and with a tasteless flavor. I wonder about the reviews. Lavazza's Oro is far superior. I think this one might be better for cappuccino. I wouldn't buy it again.

One of the best coffees I have ever tasted... delicious, amazing color, incredible creaminess, what else does anyone want from a freddo espresso? I only drink it cold, I have never had it hot! It's a shame that I can't find it in my city and I have to order it, resulting in the price going up due to cash on delivery and shipping costs... but never mind, coffee is everything to me and logically to those who drink coffee, so if you're looking for the best, this is it! For those who haven't tried it, give it a go, you won't regret it!
