I make my coffees plain Americano and even though they are diluted, I always look for an intense blend so that it doesn't taste watery. Also, Lavazza uses the modern process of caffeine removal from beans using carbon dioxide and not chemical solvents. So we drink and enjoy without guilt.
Anyway, it works best on high pressure machines (my favorite budget option is Singer). In the Lelit I have at home, it makes less crema of course and with more effort in preparation. If I could find beans and not ground, I would buy a few kilos in bulk.

On the contrary, this one hits the tongue hard, it doesn't caress. That's exactly what I was looking for, and especially at a price close to 16.5 euros, I will buy it for as long as I need decaf in my life! Imagine that even my girlfriend, who knows nothing about coffee, was particularly impressed and said that if I hadn't told her it was decaf, she wouldn't have realized.
Unfortunately, though, it doesn't officially come to Greece, and that's a real shame. I tried to ask them to bring it, but I couldn't find anywhere to talk to them (online, of course).
Note-Update: the coffee is 100% robusta, which means that if you have a sensitive stomach, stay AWAY! Instead, you should get 100% arabica, because robusta is very strong.

The smoke and wood are not separately present in the aftertaste but they give you that extra something they advocate.
