IP Ratings consist of a two-digit number, which provides an "Ingress Protection" rating to determine the protection a product has from external elements, such as water or dirt. Each digit is individually ranked from 0 to 6 (solid protection) and 0-9 (liquid protection), with 0 being no protection.
An IP44 rating means that your product will be protected from solid particles that are over 1mm in size and from low velocity sprays of water from every direction.

Καλημέρα Αναστασία! ΟΧΙ δεν είναι αδιάβροχο! Αυτό όμως που έκανα και το προστάτεψε ακόμα και στις ακραίες καιρικές συνθήκες (Βαρυμπόμπη με 1 μέτρο χιόνι) ήταν να κόψω με ψαλίδι το διαφανές πλαστικό κάλυμμα της θήκης που ήταν μέσα το μποτον και με σιλικόνη γύρω-γυρω στο καπάκι του καλύμματος που να εφάπτεται στον τοίχο.
