This is an aperitif ouzo, enjoyed with the addition of water or ice according to preference, which adds a rich emulsion. It ideally accompanies appetizer meze, such as ropades olives, salted sardines from Kalloni, saganaki ladotyri, grilled octopus, and local seafood scallops and clams.
