Primo Ascolto aims to develop the student's listening skills and prepare them for oral comprehension exams, such as Celi 1, Cils A1 and A2, Plida A1 and A2, and other similar exams.

The natural and often entertaining dialogues, extensive use of photographic material, and modern graphic layout make learning enjoyable and engaging, making the book suitable for students of various ages.

It consists of 40 texts, the last 10 of which are authentic. Each text is accompanied by two activities, one preparatory and one reflecting the type of the aforementioned exams. The texts cover a wide variety of topics and situations appropriate for this language level, as well as useful communicative acts.

Primo Ascolto is intended for beginner or false beginner students and can be used up to the pre-intermediate level.

It can ideally complement Nuovo Progetto italiano 1, covering many of its topics, or be used independently.

It is accompanied by an audio CD and a teacher's book, which includes the solutions to the exercises and the transcription of the texts (also available among the downloadable attachments).
