Year 1865. Impey Barbicane and J.T. Maston are experts in weapons and explosives and wish to do something significant. So they decide to build a large cannon and use it to travel to the Moon. However, no one has ever traveled to the Moon before, and many people, like the great Captain Nicholl, believe it is impossible. What will happen when Barbicane and Nicholl meet? And will the men attempting to reach the Moon return alive?
