The present 2nd edition "General Part of Commercial Law - Securities" is a merger of the updated works "E. Perakis, General Part of Commercial Law" and "N. Rokas, Securities". The first part develops the General Part of commercial law, while the second includes the theory of Securities. It analyzes the general theory of commercial law, its relationship with civil law and economic science, and provides historical approaches to systems of commerciality. Additionally, it develops commercial acts and merchants, examining issues of land and maritime trade, as well as the importance of commerciality.

In the second part of the work, the law of Securities is analyzed, examining the sources of law, their definition and conceptual elements, as well as securities incorporation. The concept of the bond is presented as a primary security type, with a detailed reference to promissory notes and checks, while the final sections examine commercial securities payable to order and bearer securities in the capital market.
