  • Very good! It is not the typical Assyrtiko of Santorini because it does not have sharp acidity but that's why I like it! Unfortunately, it loses 1 star for the price which is high but it's worth it

Description & Specifications

The dry white wine Ktima ALPHA Assyrtiko comes from Amyntaio in Florina and has a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Florina designation. Made from 100% Assyrtiko, it has a crystalline, bright pale golden-yellow colour with greenish highlights. The nose is intense and complex, with citrus aromas, floral notes and white stone fruit, while its acidity helps the aromas and finish linger.

Winemaking includes pre-fermentation maceration in a controlled environment and alcoholic fermentation at carefully managed temperatures. The wine remains on its lees for 8 months, with periodic stirring. Serve at 9–11 °C. It pairs well with white meat and poultry, fish and seafood, vegetables and legumes, as well as Asian and spicy dishes, or as an aperitif.
