1. The hole is difficult to make in the egg.
2. IMPORTANT, it does not notify you when it is done, so it can be left open easily

No experience yet because I bought it recently.
It is quite small but it really does fit 7 eggs!
I only used it once and boiled 3 eggs which came out hard.
As soon as it finishes, you need to remove the eggs and turn off the switch because otherwise it apparently keeps going on its own, resulting in the eggs coming out very hard.
It takes a little time to get used to it until you find the desired result.

Unfortunately, after 2 months of use it broke, the light comes on but it doesn't heat! Anyone interested should better choose one of better quality

I will say that it did its job perfectly and for its price it's worth it, but 2 bought by me and 1 by a friend and all 3 broke down within 3 months to 1 year, the light turns on but the resistance does not heat up.

The boiler for its price is quite good, it boils eggs in about 10 minutes, limescale remains after use, here the water is very hard, I put a piece of kitchen paper soaked in vinegar and after about 20 minutes I remove it and it is clean. Of course, the accessory for piercing the eggshell (if someone wants to do it so the eggs don't crack during boiling) with the back part of the measuring cup (spike/pricker, as the manufacturer calls them) is a joke, because it is plastic and bends. I didn't use it, and the eggs didn't crack. Let's start with the most basic thing, which is that the price is at 7 euros, which means it's a bargain. Moving to the positives: boiling is a piece of cake in 5-6 minutes. Three options for boiling. The device turns off when they are ready. Now for the negatives: piercing with the plastic is pure despair, I even broke an egg with the force, it's useless, it's like it doesn't exist. The surface, after the first use, releases a white powdery residue at the base that doesn't come off with water, only by scrubbing with lemon. For someone who is getting such a device for the first time and wants to experiment, it's just what you need!!!!!

Very good egg boiler! I boil 6 eggs without worrying about timing. As a tip, you will need a pin to pierce the eggs before boiling so they don’t crack, and pay some attention to cleaning the metal surface where the water boils: it needs to be cleaned with lemon (according to the instructions). Finally, it’s a good idea to unplug the device as soon as the boiling is finished and the switch turns off. This way you ensure it won’t start again (if you forgot the switch on).
