Simply perfect, it does what it should, I use it to store various files that I don't need or very large games and it works excellently!

I have had it for years and it works great. However, you should be careful not to hit it and not to scratch it... a good purchase for typical needs!

Used on a computer as a secondary drive and on a console for extra games, I have had it for 3 years and in the last year it has been failing, disconnects by itself, while it was working it was just okay.

Several years of use with many file transfers and many TB of material, absolutely no problems and no disconnections, so I highly recommend it!

(I have had it for 2 years) and I can say that it is durable... but, it is PROBLEMATIC!!!
- It constantly disconnects when left unused for a while! (like putting the phone to sleep)
- Data transfer is simply TERRIBLE!!!
(You cannot do ANYTHING else in the background until the disk finishes its task... because ALL APPLICATIONS FREEZE!!!)
- The ONLY POSITIVE thing is that I have not lost ANYTHING from the backups I have been doing for so many years!!!
Although slow... it is DURABLE!!!

Purchased for €44, reliable, it is the second one I ordered, the previous one is bought (previous model) since 2016 and it hasn't had any issues. I recommend it for its value.

Very easy to use and I use it for various games on the computer. It connects via USB without any installation and is ready to use.

I have been using it for almost half a year as an external hard drive for my jailbroken PS4 and it hasn't had any problems at all. Quiet and fast!

1TB and enough. It does the job I want. Its speed is not great. It's a regular disk that stores files for you. And it's exactly what I want, mainly for work and personal files (maybe some videos too).

Purchased on October 22nd, gave up on July 12th of the following year.
Minimum use on laptop and mediabox, suddenly stopped being recognized and the characteristic sound *click* was heard.
Never again!

The disk is perfect. Format it for the first time in NTFS to handle large files. I have no problems. I recently bought a third one, all of them are 4TB. The first one was purchased 4 years ago and I have no issues. Some people judge the disk based on file transfer. It's not the disk's fault. It could be an old computer or slow/defective USB ports. If you're interested, buy it. It's reliable and at a very good price.

I can transfer files from my camera or other media (USB etc.) to the disk, but often the files do not appear when I connect it to my laptop. I also frequently receive a message to repair the disk unit. In general, the disk is not stable. I don't trust it. I will use it for backup and buy something better.

In my possession for at least 3 years. It has fallen several times from a significant height without breaking. It is used as a back-up storage.

Great choice that has never disappointed me, I have 4 of these disks that I use for backup and in the 2 years that I have had them, I haven't had any problems. Their health doesn't seem to be deteriorating for now and their performance is at satisfactory levels with normal USB 3 speeds.

Excellent quality from Toshiba in a timeless disk that simply changes names every few years and data transfer speed! There's nothing else to say, you just enjoy using it!

I've had the disc for about 1.5 years and it's perfect. I use it on my PS4 and because there are frequent power outages in my area, I was initially afraid that something might get corrupted, but everything is fine up to this day.

In the 3rd month, it stopped working. While it was working, it was quite slow. Fortunately, I had it as a backup disk and didn't lose my files.

I have had it for 6 months, with moderate use so far, and I have not encountered any problems. It is quiet.

Well, due to my profession, I need to have a tough hard drive with me and I chose this one because of its cost in relation to capacity. After 14 days, it slowed down and crashed... The disappointment was huge. I came on board to do a 10-month job and in just 14 days it crashed without me having any other spare because I trusted Toshiba... It was my big mistake. I am 5 months in and when I finish my shift, I stare at the ceiling... It's a shame.

I've had it for a long time and it's incredibly good. I use it for gaming and coding and it's fantastic for an external HDD if you're looking for the right product.

It's all good. He sits and sleeps, so whenever I need him he's always ready to respond. I haven't seen any issues for months.

I bought it convinced by its good reviews, but it betrayed me during work hours. The disk, without any absolute hit or fall, suddenly became unrecognizable by the computer. As a result, formatting was the only option and 500 GB of music were lost.

Excellent, the downside is that from Windows 10 onwards, HDs do not work as well with the software that is now SSD-oriented.

After an excellent experience with the 1TB purchased in 2018, I decided to upgrade to the 4TB. Firstly, I should note that this series with 3.0 has been replaced with USB 3.2, which is only positive.

Improved external design, obviously slightly larger than the 1TB, with 3.6TB of clean space. In large files (>1GB), it writes steadily at least 120-125 Mb/s on a 3.0 port. Generally quiet (in contrast to a more expensive Western Digital model) and even if you write many files, it heats up very little (again in contrast to the same expensive WD model). Only at the end of data copying to the disk, you may hear the mechanical parts inside, but I don't find it unreasonable.

It seems equally reliable as the old one, and in case of any problem, I will come back. Toshiba Canvio is a classic value, trust it blindly.

During data transfer, it is slower than a Seagate Expansion 1tb that I have. Otherwise, it does its job.

Very bad product. On the third time I used it as a second backup, it suddenly started not reading files on the disk even though it was visible and the finder was stuck. Spend 10 euros more and buy WD with closed eyes. Twice in my life I bought Toshiba because of the price and both broke down. Shame.

Give something extra for another disk. This one has a sensitive cable (special type) and if it breaks, there is a serious problem in finding it again. The disk, after some transfers, I saw with a special program that its health dropped to 18%. It may last from 6 months to 2 years, but certainly not so much with daily use. On the positive side, it has good response in writing and reading its files. It is good for backup but with reservations! I would definitely not buy it again.
