I had high expectations, they were good but I got a problem with the bristles and they made parasites. I know it can happen in the factory and logically I just got a problematic one, but I paid the money. That's why you get 2 stars, otherwise it's a 5

I have had them for less than a year, I put them in a shop that works with hertz! With normal use, one speaker and one tweeter burned out! Very good sound and price! But if something burns out in less than a year, what can you do with them?

If you want something more powerful, we move to a different category, but for their price, if someone wants something normal, better than the factory one, they are worth the money.

They have clear mids and good, tight bass as they should. I installed them in the doors along with insulation and they sound wonderful without an amplifier, playing with a Pioneer.

I am in the break-in period but the difference is noticeable compared to the factory ones (corsa d)

They play from a Pioneer source where, with proper EQ, crossover adjustment, and maybe some bass boost and/or loudness, they become amazing.

Excellent sensitivity for their price.

I didn't have huge expectations, just a normal sound with some bass.

With closed eyes, just get them. Super easy installation in Opel Corsa D. They came to replace the factory ones that gave up. No amplifier needed. I've had them for a year and haven't faced any problems. Sound quality is nothing compared to the factory ones. They can handle a lot of bass and without distortion

I replaced the factory speakers in a 2007 Toyota Avensis with these speakers, meaning 2+2... the speakers are amazing! I had used the tweeters before but not these speakers, so I hesitated at first until I heard them... They don't fall short anywhere... if you're playing with a factory source, you can push them to the max easily... I was blown away... they are worth the money!!

I have installed them for about 6 months on the front doors of a Mazda 2 2009 with the use of a Chinese Android screen. Quite a difference from the factory speakers. In the same setting, they play much louder, as I tested them by first placing the passenger side to see how much difference they would have compared to the factory ones. Normal bass, nothing crazy, just good, not too strong, but personally I'm not a fan of very strong bass. Overall, I believe it's a good solution for someone who wants something more than their factory speakers but doesn't want to spend too much money. A fair upgrade.

*Also, I should add that I used adapters for their installation, so as not to have any issues inside the door due to the larger magnet.

Very good high-definition and high-sensitivity speakers, they increase the overall integration of sound compared to the factory ones by about 20%+ with lower volume sounding louder. Opel Corsa E 2015 with factory source.

They were installed on a Honda Civic 96-00 without any problem. They come with a special spacer so that they can be screwed into the factory position

Purchase for alfa romeo mito, compared to other similarly priced brands that I heard from a friend's car, the hertz are garbage.... Zero bass, the treble shaves your ears, and with an amplifier they sound worse than trf without an amplifier....

I placed them on the shelf of my car for something better (there were no speakers in the back) and I really fell in love with them!

Excellent sound quality in the highs and lows, wonderful bass and clear sound. I don't know if it's the speakers or if there was a mistake in the installation, but when I turn the volume up to 80-85%, they start making noise.

I wish they had protective covers because now they are exposed to everything where they are installed.

The speakers replaced the stock ones in a 2011 Suzuki Swift. Amazing sound. Together with a Pioneer AVH-A240BT head unit, they kill it. I don't know if they can handle a powerful amplifier, but they can definitely handle a plug and play setup. I also installed Hertz Uno X165 coaxial speakers in the rear doors, and the whole setup is incredible. A self-powered subwoofer completes the system and it's a beast. It's quite powerful and has a clean sound. It can get a bit distorted on certain songs due to the high recording levels, though. They're worth it

I recently installed them in an Opel Corsa D with the factory source. I must say that I couldn't listen to metal before because the previous ones were squeaking too much. These play without any problem. As for the bass? Satisfactory for mid bass. Obviously, if you are an audiophile, you can go for a much better sound, but for everyday use, they are ideal for me.

Very good speakers.. I installed them in a 2007 Auris with a cheap Chinese Android head unit without an amplifier for now.. I noticed a difference in both volume and quality compared to the stock speakers, which were already pretty good.

The speakers were installed in an Opel Corsa D as an upgrade to the factory ones. For their price, they are very good, with clear sound, especially in the high and mid frequencies, and the instruments stand out from each other, as well as the voices. You can feel the sound spreading in the space, and the bass is also quite satisfying. They play with great source quality, and already the sound has significantly improved, just like the tweeters enhance the sound in the space.

Combined with a Nakamichi source, they perform very well even at high volumes

If you have an amplifier that separates the speakers from the bass, then it's perfect, like speakers without bass it's perfect.
When you add bass and echo together and raise the volume, the interference starts.

They replaced the front factory unit of a 2018 Citroen C3 easily and flawlessly. They upgraded the sound by many levels, they don't distort when approaching the max (don't push them too hard though), they play loudly, they have good bass compared to the power they receive, they have 93 dB sensitivity so they are easily driven, their highs are not top-notch but we're talking about a cheap unit that plays with enthusiasm and not with amplifiers. Break them in a few days before playing them loudly. They are worth every euro.

I have been searching for a long time to see what speakers to install in my car. I talked to stores, searched on the internet, and the more I searched, the more confused I got. I almost believed that I had to spend a lot of money to have a decent result. Fortunately, my budget did not allow me to buy something expensive, so I chose these. Well, I made the best purchase of my life. The speakers compared to the factory ones are day and night. I didn't imagine such a difference. They play with a simple Pioneer source without an amplifier, and I am shocked.

Very good speakers, if I could put a video instead of a photo, I would do it. Very good bass, very good tweeters. Easy installation. Be careful, you may need additional additions depending on the car (look at the photo). I will also buy another set for the rear doors

In Opel Astra K-2016 with the factory 7-inch source (speakers only in the front, 2 in the doors and 2 tweeters):
1) Good bass even at low volumes, satisfactory upgrade from the factory speakers.
2) Impressive mid-range frequencies (vocals and some musical instruments like electric guitar solos).
3) The high frequencies... a big issue. They hurt your ears... I don't know if it's my source's fault for this poor result in the high frequencies. I have to lower them to 20% on the equalizer to avoid discomfort. If you put them close to the middle, you can't hear the 'S' sounds and cymbals at all... I expected them to be more balanced, unfortunately.
Also, overall the sound of the speakers is a bit "wooden," flat. It's like the naturalness of the musical instruments is lost... I hope they balance out somewhat after hours of playing

Ideal placement in front of a Fiat Grande Punto 2006 as a replacement for the factory speakers. Phonocar bases with code 03919 are required for this specific car model. Perfect fit of the woofers, even with the door panel ring in place. It requires a little extra work to change the tweeter (a small intervention for careful opening of the old position with adhesive and securing the new one with silicone) if you want it to not be noticeable and to be like the factory one. Very good sound clarity at normal volume.

UNBELIEVABLE sound for their price. Especially their tweeters are amazing. Compared to something like Pioneer that I had, it's like day and night.

Initially, Hertz.. We are talking about something very high-quality despite the fact that the DSK series is the economical range.

A huge upgrade from the car's factory speakers.
Crystal-clear highs, warm mids, and decent bass. All of this at normal volumes, the bass loses a bit in the highs. They have been tested with amplification from HERTZ DPower4 and they continued to play with excellent quality without distortion or buzzing in the high frequencies. Overall, very satisfied.
Tested in a Suzuki Swift for 2 years.
However, we must emphasize that the CX165, despite being coaxial (with integrated tweeter in the cone), are at the same price range, have only 10 fewer Watt RMS, 50 more Watt Peak, and produce a much nicer sound.. with a significant difference in the bass.

I have them for 1.5 years. They produce clear sound but not strong bass. Also, they started creaking a couple of months ago. Overall, it's a mediocre purchase

Very good speakers with crystal clear sound, they are worth their money and more, if you have them together with an amplifier even better, but even in the factory positions they are much better than regular speakers, the bass now in the factory positions, if you have a good source, it can be adjusted by the various parameters that exist...

Clean and detailed sound, does not distort at high volumes (within acceptable limits). Don't expect crazy bass, but the speaker is worth its money.

I replaced the factory speakers with these, as I also replaced the factory source with a multimedia one and the sound upgrade was incredible!!

Owner for 3 months, I play them with the Alpine 72 bt source without an amplifier and the speakers are "top-notch" no matter what genre of music you listen to! Even at very high volumes, they are extremely clear and crystal clear, they are worth their money and more.
